Try adopting their view and to really try and understand what they are contributing by way of observation. If you want, help them find themselves. Some people wouldn't understand other people and what they've experienced, it's better for some to hold the memories deep so others find their own way... Too many tricks and tests have been pushed on people and I think it's kind of fucked, but I still like testing others so I guess it makes the playing field even
