Bardon's Astral Projection - IMPORTANT QUESTION

Well, as many of you must have noticed, while everyone else doesn't mention anything similar (neither does experience), Franz Bardon says that touching a person who is astral travelling with his method will kill him immediately. Supposing that his experiences are valid, how different can his method be so that such a thing happens???

(I'll be offline for a few weeks, but I would greatly appreciate your posts and experiences.)
