The power of faith is independent of the belief system used to implement it.
"The world is made of many pages
And every page contains a world
We flicker through them in the daytime
But in the night become unfurled."

Yeah, I would not mind too :)
Illusion is the first of the pleasures.
The bomb of entropic chaos.
If some assholes levels a twelve gauge your way, you drain him, skin him and bash in his skull. Self-preservation is vital part of humanity after all. My favorite part, in fact

I think Maya's favorite salutation is perfect here - praise the sun!

It's really five two-hour lectures pressed together. The fragments are out there. Major point of it - history of solar deity, the eight spheres according to Ptolemaic and Greek theory of incarnation as well as ascension, the meanings of the zodiac and the twelve forces to overcome as in the labors of Hercules, etc.. Lots of really neat stuff.

The title does not lie. O0

There's tons and tons of his taped lectures from the 60's, 70's, and 80's all over Youtube. Been trudging through them for a long time and the moment I think I've found his best one I find out a few videos later that the one I just listened to was the best. The stuff that seems like it's on mundane issues in particular seems to shine incredibly well.

One side note - a lot of the old tapes have a lot of unwanted bass and lower-mids. I downloaded Chrome EQ and that's helped out a lot.

I was just staring at the thumbnail.

If you haven't already consumed his textbook for his own school, I highly recommend "The Secret Teachings of All Ages".

Manly P Hall is one of the greats.

Hmmm, after your descriptions I will give it a try. Maybe like when I am going to sleep I will try to hear him out. Why life is so time consuming :(

Thanks CJ!

I don't know if that was at me but if so - I had the good fortune of doing that a couple years ago and yes, it changed a lot about how I saw western history and the movement of philosophic thought. I remembered hearing about the Greek and Roman gods/goddesses, oracle of Delphi, etc. back in school but never in the kind of color depth - usually just passed off as a 'this is what these people believed literally' in the same sort of 'aww, those poor proto-intellectuals...' type of context.

Heh, I remember that suggestion in Liber Null/Psychonaut. If people are serious about method-acting new beliefs who knows!

Yes indeed.

It´s all about belief system and what you do with it. [thumbup]
