Body Sigils

Post by Metaller »

have you ever tryed to mark a sigil on your skin and charge it so that a certain effect is acheived when you do something with that bodypart?
I currently have a sigil created by modifying a chaostar on each palm. they work great as energy catalysts, they obviously aren't tattoo so every now and then I have to renew them but now when i concentrate on my left palm I can release pure energy extending my aura to unusual levels. and when I concentrate on my right palm the aura of the entire hand fades away and it becomes capable of absorbing energy on touch. with this new powers I became capable of creating minor spells without gnosis and to replensh my energy faster by simply touching a wall or something.
what do you think about it? I find them very useful.
A: I think pigeons will rule the world with their advanced technology
B: naaaaaah!!! I'm not bored enough to do that

Body Sigils

I have the same thing. I visualize or sometimes will even draw a sigil for draining and a sigil for projection on my hands. This has resulted in a me being able to project with my right hand and drain with my left. The sigils though have had a lasting effect (not that im unhappy with the results)

I do this time to time, but mine are really a combination of symbols/sigils/runes that I design but don't follow how other people make sigils.

I do have my own symbols on my body, but I don't use them quite in the same way. I've had the feeling lately that it's time for more ink, and I'd love to play with body art designs to see how they interact with various things..

I think that photo was the day I last had work done on it, so there may be some redness and/or sticky tape marks [rofl]

Very nice ink! I considered something similar for my next tat but the design hasn't come to me yet.

As for sigils on the body in general - I've doodled them on myself many times and on my partner when I felt the need. It just felt like a logical thing to do at the time. Keep the ink right there on me, within my energies, manipulate and use as and when needed.

Thanks ^_^

I'm planning to continue in a similar vein. These are "elements" personified as faces, in a sort of totem-spine design. The elements in the spine are quite neutral, I'm thinking of continuing with some RHP and LHP elements, starting behind the ears, coming down the neck, along the shoulder, down the outside of the bicep, and terminated in an armband at the forearm, on the right and left arms respectively. 8 or 16 symbols on each arm would be my ideal. I haven't considered it as much as it's going to need considered, but the idea is forming.

Then, once the arms are done I'll have to come up with something for the legs...

That sounds like a great plan! I'm trying not to think on my next tat designs (too poor to get them) but I am hoping to get some nice sigils on me. My current 2 are more totem type thinking so we'll see. They'll come to me when the time's right. I look forward to seeing the next installment for your designs though!

When I was in elementary school I made up a few sigils without knowing they were called that, and I would always draw them on my wrists and ankles in peach colored marker so they wouldn't show. I believed they made me a better climber and less likely to trip.
