Glowing Eyes

I honestly have no idea where this should go soooo, I'm putting it here. This has been a fairly active week for me, paranormally speaking. On Sunday, I was attacked by what I can only assume was the Old Hag, during a bout of sleep paralysis (My friend believes it may have been a ravager or something else). That alone would be enough for me to deal with but since then the house has felt well, charged. Specifically the shadows, which seem to be moving of their own accord at the mere mention of paranormal phenomenon. Then I go to work today and my vision starts shaking badly. This is followed by severe dizziness, lightheadedness, and confusion. I know, not paranormal, but that led me to leave my desk and head to the bathroom to check my eyes. Once there, I look in the mirror and notice that my normally brown eyes were taking on a red hue. Not just red but the longer I looked at myself, the more I noticed luminosity, that red hue was actually a glow pouring through from behind my irises. I'll be honest, it didn't get "OHMERGERD LAZOR" bright but it was enough to convince me it wasn't some weird reflection of light.

A little bit of background, while I'm at it since no one probably remembers me. I've been afflicted with sleep paralysis all my life, during these bouts I've been visited by different creatures. Most predominantly the Old Hag. I've also been visited by a knight during one of my bouts, who tried to stab me with his sword (My friend believed that he was trying to kill the evil in me and not actually me). I also have prophetic dreams, I guess you could say; seeing the future in my sleep, though I can't control the frequency or duration of those visions. In the past I attempted to learn pyrokinesis and was moderately successful. Beyond those and a few encounters with shadowy creatures (I say Shadow People, my friend says negative psychic feedback) and a near fully manifested ghost (My friend thinks it was possibly a fear monger), I haven't had many other encounters that I can remember.

Sooo, thoughts? Am I crazy or am is there a reason all this keeps happening to me? Also, does anyone know WHY my eyes are suddenly able to glow red? My sister said she's had something similar happen but hers seems to be tied to her emotional state.

Anyone else seen your eyeballs luminate, or just you?
Because frankly if this occurrence is causing you to question your sanity, then having a more objective observer witness the phenomenon as it happens would certainly straighten you out in that regard.
If you're not crazy and it really is happening, then you can begin to consider a strategy for dealing with it.

Hum all i can say about this is i don't think it's that abnormal. I mean, if you stare at yourself too long to yourself on a mirror or something you can see your aura, if you continue contemplating yourself you will see that energie emaning to yourself and you will see alot of things. Don't know if it's common for everyone but i've tried it and it works, you can see your whole face black yellow rainbow etc.
I don't really know if this is the case with you but, i guess it's normal people sometimes escalate on things after a "paranormal experience" or a more intense experience and start freaking out about everything. It might be another thing ofcourse but for your description i can relate with that and it doesn't seem to be anything wrong with that. If you want go and try what i said above and see if it happens again.

There's a big difference about something it's your that are controlling and producing, than something that it's external to your being and a force of itself.

About the SP situation that's another story.

I intend to comment too,but it might be a wee while yet.Sorry.

I've been out of commission posting wise ,for weeks due to severe dermatitis flare on my hands. [and face,ow...lol]
I am starting to post again but my hands are still a little sore,so slowly for now,lol.

The eyes are the window to the soul,so it is said and this is a wise saying ,I find.
I do the glowy eye thing too.It has been spotted by others,disconcertingly enough,but mostly it's just me,in the mirror or other reflective surface.

I have the kind of eyes that have been commented on all my life anyway,they 'change' colour.I'm that person you know whose eyes seem to become like Ice when angry,the one who 'looks right through you'...they get paler,more translucent.
I believe it's hormone surge related and it's a lot more noticeable in folks with certain pigment types.It definately seems connected to me,emotionally speaking.

The' disconcertingly enough' is a joke comment,with a serious undertone.I was magickally active /engaged ,at the time and trying not to be noticed.Fail on that,lol,but it was a psychically sensitive person who noticed and they also commented on sensing a 'glow'' around me,aurically wise.

I have to go now,but I will post more later.I'm quite sure other people will have experienced similar,at some point too,don't worry about your sanity,please,in the meantime.I think you are alright on that score. [thumbup]

Thanks for the responses guys, I'll try to answer in the order received. I apologize for misspellings as I'm doing this from my phone. The house feels charged, whereas I, more or less feel drained. I think the hag drained me of a lot of spiritual energy to manifest like she did because when she attacked, my body went insanely cold. That said I think over the past day or so I've felt a resurgence of energy.

As to whether others have seen it or not, I don't know, I do know that my eyes have freaked people out though but they've never said why.

Lastly, my eyes have also been known to change color based on my emotional state, ranging anywhere from a dark chocolate to an almost acidic yellow. But as mentioned they've never had a definable luminosity to them. My sister has had witnesses to her eyes glowing a vivid red from what she told me.

My bf has had glowing red eyes that he did not see, but some other people had seen. He felt energy with it though, and quite honestly we are still trying to figure everything out. For us (I say us because it's something that's been with me for awhile) it was/is some sort of entity. However, like I said his eyes really glowed red, his neighbor was terrified of him after that. But then he also growled lol. This particular entity has the ability to make you feel that his energy is yours. I did not notice whenever this thing came to me and it seems unable to have the effect on me it has had on my boyfriend. He (the entity) is however hot. All I really notice is that I'm always hot and filled with energy when he's in me. I didn't even realize he was in me until recently and he's been around a very long time.

I think your friend and I have similar perception filters.

My eyes and the auric/energy effects are self generated and I have never experienced any external manifestation,like a hag or other demonic or similarly disturbing presence in any of my sleep parlaysis events either.I've been doing it all my life too.IMMV.

I get pressure on the chest,immobility of body and the most interesting of visual patterns and colour vibrations:'swooshy/trippy' stuff and I blame my Pineal Gland and other limbic parts [See:Hippocampi and Amygdala] for these phenomena,mostly.

I get head asplode and thunderclap effects too,these make me giggle ,which breaks me out of the paralysis,so sometimes I suppress the giggle and stay in for the duration.If you let the panic ride itself out,other centres get stimulated and it can become a rather pleasant experience,odd as that may seem to say here. [anyone else get this?]

I tend to view the paralysis events as precursors to AP and lucidity and as I also get this in hypnopompic[sleep to waking] stages,I feel it might be occurring when my body/mind/spirit:as in body of light,astral self and so on,[however you define this personally]... are trying to recombine,so to speak,to their default state and get misaligned,out of sync/harmony.As so,I think the other way round is when the seperation is misaligned.

A kind of phase transition,that stays too long in the liminal,basically,or perhaps more Shamanically speaking.

Just my own thoughts on my own experiences.As I understand this so far.

Hey guys, thanks for the info on this and the sleep paralysis issue. Sorry I've been missing, no real excuse for it except work and life. I haven't noticed the eye thing reoccuring but I'll look back on this if it does. The possibility of being empowered by an entity like that is an interesting notion, to say the least. I wonder if it'll be something I can call upon at will someday. To be honest there's a lot I need to learn, both about the paranormal and about myself. Unfortunately, it's hard to do so when you have no one to show you the right path. Kinda wish I had someone I could physically go to about this kinda stuff but hey, that's why I joined this site, if I can't get someone close, I'll do the next best thing ^^
