Free books!

Post by Asmus »

Today, i was searching for an ebook copy of "The Magus" on the pirate bay.... and NOTHING showed up! I was struck with awe; a very popular occult book, not available on the largest torrent site in the world? How could this be!?

So i did some searching and recovered a fantastic resource. Everything from the Voynich Manuscript to books on Zen and Kabbalah; free, with no registration. Pretty ecstatic about this, and I know you guys will put it to good use! URL is here: http://www.holybooks.com/

And yes... The Magus is here. [wink]

Wow, I knew it. I have a website too. Free E-books all occult. Pretty fantastic.

Hey guys, I was browsing through the internet when I was gonna search a book for necromancy. Sadly it took me that long to find what is called the "Simon necronomicon" Then I wanted to purchase it, sadly It was $95 and I didn't want to spend any of my cash. After all the long perseverance and internet usage and CPU heating. I have finally found a free e-book website. It has everything imaginable. From Voodoo, to Kabbalah, to necromancy, to satanism. It also has some rituals and spellbooks that are underrated but trust me. It is REALLY effective.

I have been browsing on this site for around 4 months, and as an accomplished magician I am willing to serve humanity so here you go:

I deleted the other post/topic you made with the same link and I merged the text with the last post here. [thumbup]

Duplicates are unecessary and they take up more space.

Those look like good resources

Do you think it's possible an occult author might get annoyed and do a spell to take action against people who illegally download their books?

I mean, I've downloaded quite a few myself but it occurred to me its quite possible that could happen, do you think this is very likely?

I find that kind of thing dubious at best, Mr. Beero.

More resources:

A very good list of alchemical/occult symbols; useful in talismans and all kinds of sigil magick.
Dictionary of Occult, Hermetic, and alchemical sigils. Can be downloaded here: http://www.eso-garden.com/index.php?/weblog/dictionary_of_occult_hermetic_and_alchemical_sigils/

We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of disociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new dark age. ~ H.P. Lovecraft

Wow. That's a great website. [gz]

As a chaote one of my favorite philosophies is Buddhism ... and of course the first book I saw on the website was about Buddhism. I will definitely have to check out that website further. It really underlines the fact that I should spend more time on this forum to learn things like that. [lookleft]

BIG THANK YOU to everybody for posting in here, i've updated my bookmarks [grin2] You guys rule.
Your head's like mine, like all our heads; big enough to contain every god and devil there ever was. Big enough to hold the weight of oceans and the turning stars. Whole universes fit in there! But what do we choose to keep in this miraculous cabinet? Little broken things, sad trinkets that we play with over and over. The world turns our key and we play the same little tune again and again and we think that tunes are all we are.
