Re: when dream & reality converge...
I used to have a recurring dream about a white house with a huge yard every night as a kid. Never seen it though.
We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of disociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new dark age. ~ H.P. Lovecraft

Me too.
I've been all over the World,in spirit,if not in body, lol.
I had one which turned out to be Pammukale,in Anatolia and another which is actually Kernave in Lithuania and many more over the years.I went to the Paris Catacombs a lot, also.
I still visit many of them to this day, though now I understand that most,if not all of my dreamscapes, are physical locations.
Is that awesome,if terrifying [vertigo..O] building in Eastern Europe?

Yeah what pisses me off now is that of all the places I could have visited I ended up seeing the same damn white farm house in the middle of a forest. It had a clothes line outside. Meanwhile could have gone to Egypt. [lol]Nahemah wrote:Me too.

Re: when dream & reality converge...
Pammukale really threw me.
My dream version,I assumed it was a cold place,I say assumed because I wasn't aware of either heat or cold there, but it was seemingly ice and water, cascading in pools.
People were sitting in some pools relaxing [again with the cold association,a la geothermal springs/Iceland]and conversely, I could see tadpoles in the water.
It was a bit dissonant for me,at the time, but I accepted that the dreamscape is an odd place to be anyway,so normal cognitive rules don't apply.
The 'ice' is calcite and it is a hot springs site,so partly sensible, lol.
