i am an occultist. have been for over 25 years. i practice chaos magick. i veer away from traditional ideas & tend to work with the fictional & makebelieve. as i see it, thats what it all is anyway. every original occultist created their own system, their own deities & demons. every grimoire is a work of art. i am a free thinker & an artist. but i also tend to be rational minded. i dissect things to better understand them. "solve et coagulae". i am also a realist. i don't believe in most flights of fancy. the imagination is capable of great deception. but man will believe what he wants to believe. its a powerful responsibility. our beliefs shape our perception of reality, as well as our attitude toward the beliefs of others.
anyway... thats a little bit about my mindset. i joined this forum 2 years ago because i know very few people with the same interests as me. which ain't a big deal cuz im a loner. but i like to express myself now & then. so occult forums seemed like a good place to do that.
