Maybe a Mentor? :)

Post by CheesePoodles »

Okay, so I am NEW NEW NEW to this whole occult thing, and have done some research on Izabael, and stuff, and so so want to evoke other daemons and stuff. Is there anyone who can help me? Like kind of a long term thing or sumpthin? I'm armed with interest and a will to learn, and would be so thankful for some kind of mentor who could devote some time to help me expand (or actually find) my skills in the occult. Thank you so so much! :)

My advice is to...
My advice is to...
My advice is to...

Abandon using that system all together.

For now.

Ye wish for a Mentor - I will mentor you!!!

First advice - be wary of all mentors and those who wish to be so.

Second advice - gain more knowledge on the subject ye wish to pursue. (Let Google be your Mentor in that regard.)

Third advice - know really why you want to learn it in the first place.

My mentorship is over - goodluck.

Mentor yourself. You never really know where the information that your "mentor" is using came from.

For the subject that your interested in? Here's something to start, if you like. I have the actual book so I can reference it when ever I want without opening my laptop. Book can be found on amazon of the same title/ author.

This is not Old English:
Ye wish for a Mentor - I will mentor you!!!
This is using 'ye' in place of 'you'.We do that here in Scotland too,it's a dialectical thing, slangish vernacular,in our case it's Lallans/Ullans,but it is in common usage in many and varied other locations UK wide.
Thar be wyrdes en scryvenings in the vein lass but it be as most of my prattle is in the good Queens english..
This is a bit better, but a tad Piratical and mixing of dialects/language.Still not Old English though.

This,is Old English:
Hwæt! wē Gār-Dena in ġeār-dagum,

bēod-cyninga, þrym ġefrūnon,

hū ðā æþelingas ellen fremedon.

Oft Scyld Scēfing sceaþena þrēatum,

monegum mǣġþum, meodosetla oftēah,

egsode eorlas. Syððan ǣrest wearð

fēasceaft funden, hē þæs frōfre ġebād,

wēox under wolcnum, weorðmyndum þāh,

oðþæt him ǣġhwylc þāra ymbsittendra

ofer hronrāde hȳran scolde,

gomban gyldan. Þæt wæs gōd cyning
Free interwebz to anyone who knows where this passage is from. [crazy] [cool]

Epic win for anyone who can translate it without looking it up. [geek2]

I've never had a mentor as such and, although I'm far from an expert, I found that once I started learning things for myself and my ways of thinking changed, I began to gravitate toward people of similar interests and vice versa. Don't get me wrong, a large amount of people who I've met along the way are full of crap to be perfectly honest, but then that seems to be the nature of the beast when it comes to a lot of occult learning - for me at least - you have to sift through a lot of crap to get to the truth!

This is a guide to Solomonic Evocation, posted by an experienced practitioner.

You might find the information useful.

I think you'll find what you seek in Ceremonial Magick, but as I'm not a practitioner I'm not sure how best to advise on which area/paradigm would be most interesting for you to explore first.

I'm posting these links because you mentioned Izabael in your OP.

So you are new to this occult "thing" but you still want to summon demons...now that is just foolish
Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't Izabael summoned most for love problems?
If you have a love problem why don't you try to solve it without magick

You should first learn more about demons before you try to evoke them.Do something less dangerous

P.S i think the old english text is from the beowulf poem

The beowulf poem is just epic...it dates from the 8th century and it is a very significant text
This poem talks about the Danish king Scyld and his valor deeds
