Ouija and Goetica
Okay a few questions:
1) Can I use a Ouija Board to contact SPECIFIC spirits (my uncle Johnny, etc)
2) Can I use a Ouija Board to contact SPECIFIC Goetic demons (Ipos, Sitri, etc...)
3) Which of these would be most kind and forgiving of a first time evoker? Agares, Sitiri, Bathin, Sallos, Berith, Vual, Balam or Ipos?
4) Can anyone give me a kind of walkthrough on an evokation of one of those demons? like what do I need (supplies, or words, or can I just say like "Sitri, i need your advice, blah, blah, blah)
Thanks! ^_^

Re: Ouija and Goetica
I can't speak much for most of that, but I would definitely suggest that you don't try to contact specific spirits through a Ouija board. It gives an easy way for different spirits to come along and convince you that you are speaking to who you wanted to (Uncle Johnny) but that is not necessarily who you are speaking to. I unfortunately can't suggest a better way for you to do it, though, because I'm unsure myself.

Re: Ouija and Goetica
You could evoke your uncle but DO NOT evoke demons because if you are new to summoning the demon will stay with you because you are letting him/her to your life and he/she might like to stay

Vovin is a very experienced practitioner and he recommends a sound base of learning before you attempt evocation work of any kind.
He recommends Bardon,Benjamin Rowe and Konstantinos,in particular.

Also recommended by many practitioners:
Modern Magic by Donald Michael Kraig..
I think you should read and study about evocation and conjuration and learn about protection and warding, while building a set of practices, slowly and from the ground up.

You should be comfortable with these rituals and their regular practice if you are going to evoke, for instance.
A lot of Ceremonial practicioners engage with a set of daily rituals to strengthen and improves their senses and abilities,as well as for Religious and /or devotional reasons.

I think you should look at regular occult practices and magickal exercises, both mental and physical and see what you would like to incorporate into your personal path.
Also,go lurk and read at Evocation Magic forum. It's a treasure trove of information and ideas.

We have some book resource and beginners resource threads, here on the forum where you'll find more links and resources which might be helpful too.
More later.
I posted this in your other thread,as a link. It's from Evocation Magic Forum.Preparatory work
I suggest a good solid foundation in the basics of ceremonial magic before attemp]ting your first evocation. This means a good couple of years of practice in my opinion. you should at least have the basic Rituals memorised eg: LBRP, BRH,The MP etc if you dont know what I am talking about you are not ready. you must have a basic understanding of energy work and have developed some Astral Abilities like scrying and visualisation. I suggest working through Benjamin Rowe's "A Short Course in Scrying" in our PDF Library. Working through the Exercises In the "Summoning Spirits" Book by "Konstantinos" is suggested. Develop astral sense and evoke astrally first. Another suggestion is to find a reputable group or mentor that can assist you.
You are not ready when
* You still ask what are the basic rituals.
* You question the strength of your circle.
* You cannot sense your circle/astral sense to communicate with the entities.
* You are affraid of darkness and demons.
* You have little to no idea on how to astrally protect yourself.
*You have not achieved Deity assumption or Knowledge and Conversation of HGA:- especially with respect to Goetic evocation or any other evocation of what could be called demons...

If K&C was required to evoke spirits, there'd be a whole lot less people doing it than there currently are :p*You have not achieved Deity assumption or Knowledge and Conversation of HGA:- especially with respect to Goetic evocation or any other evocation of what could be called demons...

Re: Ouija and Goetica
I know Rin.
I can only point towards the advice of those who work within this type of practice.
It's not my home ground and I do know there are many methods and ways to learn and work.
I do think reading about and studying the basics is a must, whichever route the student decides to take later.
I would appreciate as many viewpoints as can be added,as I am limited by my lack of practical experience and knowledge in Ceremonial magicks. [thumbup]

Nahemah this is off-topic but does your username come from the succubus Naamah who was one of the succubus mates of the demon Samael in Zoharistic Qabalah...The other name for her is Nahemah in Gnostic Kabbalah [grin]

Re: Ouija and Goetica
I work within warded space.
Here's an example of a warding that is Witchcraft related, rather than Ceremonially inclined. For balance.
http://witchesofthecraft.com/2011/03/31 ... ng-ritual/
I think you should be able to protect yourself adequately, before working with any external entities,no matter the type of working.
Here in Scotland we traditionally walked and rode round perimeter spaces, both to define/redefine territory legally and as a spiritual barrier and protection for all those living within the area.
[Heh,we all know the night monsters under the bed can only get at you,if bits of you are hanging off the bed. [crazy] ]

Re: Ouija and Goetica
Thanks a ton! Yeah, I guess I was looking at articles about like people who "accidentally" summoned a spirit and got like immediate results, yada, yada. And thought it was like super easy and simple... apparently NOT haha
anyways, thanks so much everyone!
