He came to me in a dream...
He came to me in a dream...
I hope this is the right section for this. I wasn't really sure where to put it. Mods, feel free to move it if appropriate.
This was a while ago... probably about 6 years ago. But I was thinking about it earlier and thought I would post about it here. I have only told one person about this encounter.
And, just a word of warning, things get a little bit R rated from here on out. But this is what happened.
I was sitting on my couch in my old apartment. It had been a long day and I was pretty tired. I must have dozed off sitting up.
And then, I'm still on my couch, same spot and everything but this is in the dream. I felt someone next to me. I felt breath on my face and the warmth of another body. I looked up and opened my eyes, and this man was sitting next to me, and his head was turned, he was looking straight at me.
He was really attractive, but not in the Hollywood way most people are thinking. He was really pale, had really light hair and blue eyes. The closest example I can give that people here are probably familiar with is that he reminded me of a Tolkien Elf, as they were depicted in the LOTR movies, but human. And his face was just so hypnotic. When I opened my eyes and saw him there I couldn't look away. And I was so overtaken with lust.
The only thing I could think to do was lean in and kiss him.
And then it was on. He laid me down on the couch started doing all kinds of fun things.
But somewhere in all this I realized that this wasn't reality and I started coming out of this trance. I didn't feel like I was all the way asleep. But it didn't have the random jumping around quality of a lucid dream either. It was hard to explain. But I really tried to stay there. I didn't want to leave him.
But eventually I did wake fully up.
I told a good friend about this and his first comment was that it was an Incubus. But I doubt that. Incubi are generally invisible in the accounts I've read and I doubt an Incubus would just come strolling in and start having his way with me while cat napping on the couch.
That same friend also suggested that I could have been "spirit walking." I'm guessing that's something like Astral Traveling.
Does anyone here have any thoughts. You all seem like a group of intelligent and diverse people. Was this being In encountered just some hot guy in my dream, or could he have been something else?

Re: He came to me in a dream...
I would guess along the same lines as your friend. Did you feel any after effects? Drained perhaps as might (theoretically) be expected with an incubus? Did you hit orgasm in your dream? And if you did, did you 'feel' it or did it possibly 'fizzle'?
Have you had any other experiences with entities? Do you consider yourself open to such encounters? Does your path have you interacting along such lines?
Maybe you were just horny?

Or it could've just been a random sex dream.

Re: He came to me in a dream...
Yeah, unless the OP is already "open", it's most likely just a sex dream based on the stuff presented.RoseRed wrote:Or it could've just been a random sex dream.

I was really groggy afterwords. I did not have an orgasm in the dream because I woke up too quick, I definitely would have if I stayed asleep longer. I definitely felt it building up to that.manofsands wrote:I would guess along the same lines as your friend. Did you feel any after effects? I have had a few strange encounters in my life. But I approach everything like a skeptic, so I've always been quick to try to explain them away.
As far as being open to such encounters, I am not really sure. Open could mean several things. I have never officially walked the left hand path. But I have researched it throughout my adult life. I am very interested in/fascinated with Demons. But I have never tried to call them, etc. I always said though, if one ever decided to visit me I would show him/her respect.
I have been told that I have a Demon around me. I'm an artist, and people have also said they "see" demons in my artwork.
Anyway, I dismissed what my friend guessed right away because my experience wasn't consistent with what I've read of Incubi in the past. But I suppose it doesn't have to be either. Just like in the natural world, the supernatural doesn't fit into neat little boxes.
I also realize it could have been just a dream, (there's the skeptic in me, lol.)
Re: He came to me in a dream...
Yes, very well could've. I have those all the time, lol.RoseRed wrote:Or it could've just been a random sex dream.
But what made this one different was the feeling. It's hard to explain, something just felt different about the whole thing. It was way more vivid then my other dreams like that. But I also know that being vivid doesn't lend any validity.
Re: He came to me in a dream...
The reason I say open is because a sex spirit isn't going to bother with you unless you invite them, and such an invitation can't really be given without you first being open to it and open in terms of spiritual connection. The reason this is it is much more difficult to harvest energy from a closed person than an open one. There are also enough people who want to be fed off of, there is no point going after harder prey. Finally, sex spirits are going harvest the energy you create and release when you climax, they aren't going to leave you with blue balls.Valkrane wrote:I was really groggy afterwords.
