It's not compulsory, though many new members seem to think it is.
We don't mind if you don't like doing them and don't want to write one. [thumbup]
Also:
A lot of members don't read them, so posting your issues, ideas or detailed biographies, belief sets or other forum worthy topics means that you are only reaching a few of the members and we lose out on potentially interesting and valuable discussions this way.
We may move long threads that turn into topics into more appropriate folders, due to this problem.
Please keep your intros a reasonable length and remember we have a whole forum worth of space and subject matters for you to dive into. [thumbup]
