Hello,
It's been a while, but I've been toying around with the idea of doing Magick or meditation under the influence of psychedelics.
Anyone experienced with this? And what are the best books on this?
I'll read anything related to this: be it books about shamanism, paganism, voodoo, hermeticism, etcetera.
Blessed be
Magick and the use of psychedelics, book recommendations?

Wow, thanks! That's perfect.
I googled it before, but it didn't turn up much.

Thomas Hatsis - The Witches' Ointment
It's a serious book by a fairly dedicated scholar. Not exactly and ABC book, but it gives you plenty of good information.
Weston La Barre - The peyote cult.
Classic book now on it's 5th expanded edition.
Ralph Metzner
Ralph has books both about mushrooms, Ayahuasca and other assorted drugs.
-
And you might as well add some Timothy Leary and the brothers Dennis and Terence McKenna.

Aah, wonderful - thank so much.
Yes, I was considering Leary but I was wondering how it would fit into the subject of Magick.
But I think it's a good idea.

O it absolutely fits into magic. Most books about chaos magic seems to draw from his works.anodetonoone wrote:Aah, wonderful - thank so much.

I see. Yes, it makes sense when you think about it. Psychedelics as a tool or reconditioning, reprogramming.
Well, that goes on the list then. Thanks for enlightening me.
