Hga, dweller of the threshold, crossing the abyss

Hi all, so I was wondering about what a magickal path generally looks like. My understanding is there's basics to be covered, then generally people work with elemental energies and balance those out and get rid of the bad aspects and keep the good etc. then from there I don't know. I've basically heard of three other processes/events: attaining knowledge and conversation of the holy guardian angel, crossing the abyss, and confronting the dweller of the threshold. But in what order do these happen? And are there any other events/processes that I don't know and should be aware of? Obviously enlightenment comes last, but what else? I remember hearing kchga was the main goal of malkuth, then what are the events of the other 9 sephira?

My wild guess:
I feel that KCHGA is actually related to A.C.'s experience with Kanchenjunga. He left dead people behind him. I think it made significant changes in his personality. Maybe the main goal of Malkuth would be something completely different if that expedition wasn't so tragic.
Still guessing: the same thing with other 9 Sephias. Actually, no answers, just personal experiences.
