Necronomicon question

Post by szone »

Simon, in his book 'Necronomiicon', has given 50 names of God Marduk and a very simple ritual to conjure any one of those 50 forms. Can I, as a Satanist, conjure Marduk? Or is it considered 'against Satan'? Because, Simon suggests use of white candles in this ritual. Please advice!

I remember hearing Nibiru of the Nemesis Star System being referred to
as Marduk. The Destroyer of Worlds in this scenario.

If i'm not mistaken. I think some associations with your God could be
Battle, Victory, Glory, and Severity. So by consensus, it seems like the
King, or Queen Scale Color of Geburah could be considered as candle color.
Which would be Orange for the King(Divine, God), or Red for the Queen(Archangelic).

Orange is also the color for the Queen Scale of Hod(Glory), also Severity.

There are also perfumes for all of these associations, and other symbolism.

White is a general purpose candle color, usually associated with the Divine,
but not very specific to Marduk it seems.

I don't see any of this as being against Satan, but i'm also not a Satanist.

I also think Marduk may have an association with Chesed(Jupiter) in the Qlippothic
Tree. The colors Deep Violet/Purplish, and Blue for the King and Queen. I'd use the Purple
it has a Darker feel to it.

Satan might like you better for using the Inverse Spheres, since he rules in the Supernal Triad
there. The lowest levels of Hell!

That was fun! Not really,
Peace :)

Also,

It does seem a bit odd but since Satan rules the lowest three spheres.
The Inverse Supernal Triad. White does appear to be an agreeable color
for Satan. Not offensive according to one Model anyways.

Intuitively Black and Red seems more Satanic, maybe it's just my programming
although a little research may confirm this to an extent. Leaving no shortage
of options in the end. :)

Cheers

So my intuition is confirmed by Binah(Saturn). Who's King and Queen
Scale is Black and Red.

Binah is the birth of Severity, and Sorrow. Maybe this is the most Satanic
and Divine Sephirah in the TOL, Qlippoth aside.

But I know you are not doing a Ritual for Satan itself. But just don't want to
piss it off.

Cheers

Thanks for very insightful advice. Another concern, apart from candle color, is that Marduk is known as the one who defeated the 'ancient ones', and slayed fierce demons like Azag-Thoth. Could these ancient ones be the same as Satan and his legion of demons?

I know Marduk(Nibiru) is known for destroying Tiamat(A Planet), billions
of years ago. Or so I think Zacharia Sitchen did say. A Fragment of the
destruction becomes Earth. However, there are more colorful versions of this
scenario, or Battle as it were.

Satan is definitely an Ancient One. But I don't think was ever defeated by
Marduk. Ancient Ones could be references to any number of Deities of Long
ago, like Fallen Angels, and there you have Lucifer. Many others.

Satan could be the most powerful Evil Deity, who's only worthy adversary
would be The One True God! In a way they actually complement one another.

Peace Brother!

This Power thing is trippin me out now. I don't wanna Dis the Sun God.
It really is more about diversity and purpose, than sheer Power.

Anything that can exist, probably will exist. There is almost Infinite diversity
of quality, and Morals. These things just exist without rhyme or reason. Or
Polar opposites. Spectra.

It's Dynamics and wide spectra of experience, not just about Power.

Having said that, Glory to you Ra! Sorry bout this little Satan Bit!
Ha Ha. It's all good!
Peace

Very helpful hints, thanks so much! Some say Satan is the fallen angel Lucifer only. I gotta do a lot more research before committing myself to Marduk ritual! I would not want to deal with any deity who is an adversary to Satan! :o

There's no conflict between any spiritual entities

They're all one thing

Compare it to a person wearing different outfits each day of the week. Still the same person.

Better example: somebody who has several radically different wardrobes they switch into when they participate in different scenes.

It's just one being with a bunch of disguises.
