Need Help Identifying Strange Documents
Does anyone have any idea what the origins of either of the attached documents are? I believe the language in the first document is some form of latin but I wasn't able to translate all the words. The runes at the bottom of the second document translate to either "Rork Helena," "Rorik Helena," or "Rori Helena," I can't quite tell with how the last letter of the first word is written. Unfortunately I can't say where I got these from as I simply forget, I've had them on my computer for years. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Looks similar to the Book of Kells.

Hard to read copies but top is definitely Latin, some runes interwoven and the bottom main text is one hundred percent Old German. I can clearly read some words though the copy makes my eyes hurt as the letters sort of "dance" around as they are doubled up and vague. If there was a larger and clearer print I could read it no problem!
Just let me know if you have one and that mystery will be solved.

This is correct, it is the 15th plate to be specific and is the first of three parts of the genealogy of Jesus Christ. http://www.sacred-texts.com/neu/celt/bok/bok19.htmHound wrote:Looks similar to the Book of Kells.
I may be able to acquire a higher resolution version, I'll let you know soon.ErebusNamtar wrote:Hard to read copies but top is definitely Latin, some runes interwoven and the bottom main text is one hundred percent Old German. Supposed genealogy of some supposed person...let's be real here , not buy into some possibly created mythology... [thumbup]

That explains the little text I can read at the bottom one which goes on about some supposed King and loyal service to a Royal family.Shawn Blackwolf wrote:Supposed genealogy of some supposed person...let's be real here , not buy into some possibly created mythology... [thumbup]
@violetflame; hope you are able to get it. My partner is a paper conservator and we both love reading the texts on old documents.

Re: Need Help Identifying Strange Documents
Just to be clear...
You believe a person called Jesus Christ actually existed ?
I have Templar Blood from southern France , mixed with
Celtic bloodlines...we know the code the whole story came
from , and don't believe it was real , one bit... [wink]
All an invented mythology , to change a paradigm... [thumbup]

If you were referring to me...nope, not one bit. I'm an atheist and do not believe in deities at all.
