It is interesting, how one's Mentality influences Praxis. When i was in my late teens, had just started training and experiencing the benefits.....the spiritual path became priority 1. Now....many years later....as i am getting older.....spiritual training is still very important to me....yet i am seeing it in a wider perspective and put it behind many other parts of my life.
I've taken on the view....based on all my Gnosis so far....that there is an "eternity" ahead of me.....and there's no need to jam my foot on the gas everyday. Relax and do a bit of training daily.....and thus grow a bit at a time.....drop the nukes....and chill.
Training is great....but life is also meant to be enjoyed.....so tone down the Asceticism and flow on.
I was thinking a bit more about youth and the different phases of Ideas/Goals for the path. When I first started training, I saw many of my contemporaries pursuing Enlightenment, yet I was interested in training as a Healer....and did so assiduously. After many years and swallowing a couple of life's "bitter pills", I no longer wished to heal professionally.
From then on I focused on Occult Exploration and just wanted to spend the rest of my life doing the Occultist-Scientist path....tinkering with energy and learning about the mechanics of reality.
Nowadays.....I have slowed down a bit and developed a fascination with Wheel Sorcery and Finances.
All of these phases are still a part of me.....but I guess I am writing this to reflect on how our ideologies, mentors and culture can influence are way of thinking how one's spiritual life "should be". At any moment, its of value to sit down and reflect on what "path" were pursuing....and why were pursuing it....I don't regret any of the previous paths....but it's worth considering the potentially wider phases of training. Time and Life Experience.....its an inevitable shifter....being flexible and adaptive is key.
Ganesha is an exceptionally popular deity in Hinduism and I've found to be especially valuable to work with when it comes to Finances and Spiritual Training. He is known as the "remover of obstacles" and an excellent "ally" to have in your personal pantheon. Here are some Pros/Cons I've found working with him.
Pros
-Approachable
-Established deity with long-term relations with people (Pujas, Mantric tech, Mythology, Books...etc)
-Effective and Subtle in his work
Cons
-He is less aggressive in his approach of how to solve problems, meaning some beings (wrathful) will start right out the gate kicking and punching through obstacles. He on the other hand, takes "the whole picture" into context and has a "softer" Judo like approach to removing obstacles. He gets to the root of the "issues" and flips them on there head. In the short term this can be frustrating....because it feels like not much is happening. In the long-term it is optimal as hell. I note this as a con, because this "style" of working through issues, requires a bit more patience and may not be suited to everyone's temperament.
-Anyways...I'm writing this not because I'm a devotee or anything like that...but because i think having him as an ally is extremely practical. The more tools in the tool kit...the more options you have to handle difficult situations.
If you ever find yourself getting stagnant in 2 of the above areas (he works in other spheres as well), he is an excellent being to do an intensive with....furthermore....practicing Ganesha Mantra is an easy offering that anyone can do. Your praxis can only get stronger as a result. Cheers.
When it comes to praxis and astrological cycles, I’ve made some small adjustments to my training. Instead of having 3 spheres in which the center is focused on the current cycle….i’ve found that its useful to make it so every sphere is taking advantage of the current cosmic wind, to sail forward.
So for example, lets say you have 3 spheres you love and want to focus on long term:
-Healing
-Christian current
-PSD
The above are your 3 areas of interest….rarely will you find an astrological cycle that will be explicitly focused on these topics. Yet lets say that your in a cycle that encourages Root Chakra energies….what you can do is divine, meditate and work with spirit allies to find practices in each of the above spheres that align with root chakra forces and thus profit in being aligned with the present cosmic winds. In this way all of your training will flow naturally.
We are all influenced by these winds unconsciously…but if we can consciously orient ourselves with this knowledge, it saves a lot of time fumbling in the dark. I’ve noted (generally speaking) that each cycle can last from 12-30 years….so its advantageous to know when they actually start and jump on the wagon immediately, rather than be half way through the ride before making the proper adjustments. That’s all for now, cheers.
A couple more notes on astrological cycles and praxis.
The practice of Mapping Personal Astrological Cycles……by “personal” it's how each cycle that the planetary spheres are going through interacts with your particular elemental composition. So although were spinning on the same earth….the types of cosmic energy filtering down through the spheres will “activate” each person in different ways.
Divining forward into the future, I’ve noticed patterns in how my energy body will move in accordance with different cycles. Some phases will be dominated by Water, Shadow, 3rd Eye…….etc. However, it appears from my notes, that although Astrological Movements are extremely varied…..the ways in which they activate are personal constitution can be exceptionally consistent. I’ve noted that for people overall, it appears that depending on our constitution we can go through 4-15 different internal cycles……across incarnations…..we might only experience a few in a single lifetime.
Of-course, within each of these individual cycles, there can be slight variations. For example a Water cycle might emphasize different type of yin vortexual flows (rivers, oceans, rain….etc). Anyways, I’m writing about this because I feel by having knowledge of all different cycles, you could potentially map out your incarnate existence and have a simple guide for the path ahead. Looking at things from this perspective, I was considering making a Cyclical Master Map for my own constitution that shows the pattern of energies I can express. Still tinkering with this principle, but I imagine it would look something like the Chinese Elemental Glyph (Wood, Water, Fire…etc) only it would be personalized to my system and emphasize how my body interacts with the Cosmic Flow. By having a "Master Glyph" it can used as a tremendous tool for empowerment and coordinating Praxis.
Its an excellent text and Musashi is masterful in packing excellent gnosis into short form. In reflection, i thought about what would be a short form expression of what i've learned so far, with regards to structuring praxis. I came up with the line below. Cheers.
In my younger years of study…..I frustratingly contemplated good/bad and when and when not to apply spiritual tech. No system of beliefs or values every seemed to present a cohesive method for decision making. If you poke long enough at moral ideologies….you eventually find some cracks.
After many years in the field, experimenting and slinging sorcerous tech…..I’ve come to some simple approaches, regarding how to practically “handle oneself” on a spiritual and sorcery level. This approach is non-dual and uninterested in moral frameworks, but rather focuses on the notion of “Stepping in Poo”.
What I mean by “Stepping in Poo”…..is applying sorcerous tech or moving through reality, in a way that turns your life into a “mess”. We’ve all meet people…usually baby wizards who go around slinging curses, love spells summoning demons, and consuming psychedelics en masse, without any understanding of the long term implications.
The goal of this post, is to share my strategies on navigating the Wheel, in a way that empowers you to step on “less” poo, than you would normally. This strategy, is rooted in the practice of Divination. I’ve done a good deal of card-work and observed a great variety of situations and how the actions we take in the present, can shift the future and cause feedback from the “Web” of reality in which we all intermingle. As a result of observing....how the present flows into the future and the role that sorcery plays in crafting that flow….I feel I have at least a simple understanding of how to govern fate.
The following are 2 divination questions, useful to do prior to sorcery:
1. Intent?
2. Web feedback?
-Intent….is the root of the magick your performing. Two people can perform the same magickal operation….but with differing intentions and get very different results. If you look at the core Intent of an operation....before all the surface makeup Is put on….it gives an idea of what the snowball will turn into….once you push it down the hill. Heavy intentions like Fear, Despair, Jealousy, Hatred……etc….these are all very “challenging” forces and when they form the core of your magick….it can cause a “mess”. Sorcery of any sphere….has a quality of “sticking to us”, so whether your constantly summoning angels, cursing your enemies or meditating with trees..…that energy will linger, for a time…..you will become “more of that”. The changes of continual activity in a particular “current” of magick, may not be noticeable at first…..but do have significant effects….and once you jump in the river….it's difficult to see the forest for the trees. As a result, examining the initial “Intent” of a working….enables you to consciously choose your path….and if you still get thrown in a mess…you’ll at least know why it is so.
-The Web…..a keystone of Spider Mysteries…..the idea of existence as a network of Ley lines (small and large). For example, if you for a second think about an ex-lover….you’ve just created a small line of energy between you and that individual. You shot an arrow of mental energy and temporarily created a connection. Whether it’s a thought, touch, emotional cord or you sitting at your local Ley line in the city park…..both physically and subtly, we are rubbing shoulders with the rest of the cosmos…..and the cosmos can be both Loving and Wrathful.
A consequence of ley architecture, is that you cannot touch one part of a spider-web….without shaking the whole system….to greater or lesser degree. If your slinging around spells in your astral neighborhood….its important to divine and see what kind of “feedback” your going to get. Usually the “intent” being pushed through your spiritual tech, will reflect what kind of feedback you get from the Web. Other-times..….weird shit can pop up in divination, maybe the work your doing is pissing off some local land-spirits or the person your cursing prays to Jesus every night and your making spiritual enemies. Always check on what ripple effects you’ll receive back from the Web….it’s practically useful….but can also teach you a ton about how reality works.
Intent and Web….these are the 2 “safety valves” that I’ve developed over the years, that can help you steer clear of “poo” and make your ride on the Wheel, a little more pleasant. My strategy may change in the future….but so far….this approach has been solid. Cheers.
Lately, I've been thinking about the Tree of Life and the Qlippothic realms.....and it occurred to me, that while you could potentially "plug" an Underworld glyph/map into the traditional 10 Sphere structure.....i don't think it flows very well.....and you might as well develop a new glyph. As a result, i figure it'd be fun to start tinkering around and design my own system.
It will take a great deal of time and effort....but the focus of the Glyph will be:
1.) Showing the "Structure of Reality"
2.) A tool for Occult and Mystical Training
-I may or may not make regular project updates. Till next time, cheers.
An important component in training, is the notion of Peaks and Plateaus. When I first started Meditation and Energy Work, the benefits were immediate and i felt amazing. Most people have experienced these "honey moon" periods. At the same time, if you keep training, past these honey times, you will hit plateaus....and even if you keep training daily....sometimes it will feel like your barely making any progress. From what I've observed, these plateaus are inevitable and if you continue your daily training, you'll eventually get over the hump and have a "Big Jump" in skill.
I think all skill growth....no matter what field......can be broken down into this structure: Plateau--Big Jump--Plateau. Additionally, the higher the level of skill....the longer and more difficult the plateau will become. People who are "Masters" in there field, might have to train for 10-15 years before they experience a Jump. I believe this principle goes on infinitely....as there are "always higher levels".
This leveling concept is important to keep in mind, because many people become disillusioned or lose the heart to train after extended periods of struggle.
-Anyways, something that was on my mind today. Merry Christmas!
As a youngin….you think nothing can hurt…..young dumb and full of cum as they say. To take this mentality into occult studies, can be trouble. This is a post that goes out to all the Hungry Sorcerers….hungry for growth, knowledge, wisdom…..etc.
Are you practicing hours a day, over many years? Sweating on your meditation cushion as cosmic power floods your channels? Are you riding the great abyssal dragon too the ends of sanity, while bliss radiates through your Being? Have you done all this……and still want more? This post is a warning and a dark-apocalyptic invitation, for all those whom have hit that peak and want to break reality even further. The kind of challenge….where you either win or die.
Many years ago….I was one such youth…..and have paid dearly for my adventures….while also receiving a treasure trove of forbidden knowledge. This is a very specific sphere of occult pursuit……where you want to gather all the rocket fuel existence has to offer….stick it up your ass and spark a match. I did this in my youth….with great consequence.
When you seek this kind of forbidden path…..existence takes notice…..and dark gods in the abyss smile. They smile from the planes and think “this could be fun, lets give it a go.” Then it comes, an avalanche of power…..ripping through your energy body….destroying your life and everything in it. Everything you have, fractures; health, wealth, friends and fate…..it shatters as the Dark Gods melt you down….to offer you the cosmic power you seek.
The occult is a niche field and among the people who train….few will ever fall into this realm of impatient enthusiasm and apocalyptic embrace. Though, for those people, autistic enough in there occult pursuits….be careful.
Raziel, Lucifer, Saturn, Voso…..they all govern over this harried pursuit of Forbidden Knowledge and the rewards are great….If you survive.....its often better....to take it a day at a time.

A small addition......Friction is a requirement of Growth..........the more intense your growth spurts.....the more you will get your ass kicked. "Friction" can manifest in all types of ways: Illness, Poverty, Destruction of Relationships......etc.
All this being said.....careful when you hit the "Boost" button.....life will get interesting.

Small Glyph update.
Right now, I'm experimenting with Shapeshifting as a tool to unlock gnosis of each subtle ecosystem (Astral, Celestial...etc). By cleansing and stabilizing these internal spheres, I can then be able to understanding and better interact with those parts of the Macrocosm.
It's an astoundingly slow process, but like most occult pursuits....patience is mandatory.
Possessions and clinging to all kinds of material goods can be a significant obstacle on the path. In the Vedic culture.....monks and mystics would often "renounce" all possessions before they set out. I discovered this truth indirectly when i was a young whipper snapper whom was anxious for growth. The more i willed the acceleration of my "progress".....the more "things" burned away. Even the smallest of things like books, clothes, sentimental objects....etc...they all fell away. The opposite inclination is to be a hoarder.....I've met a few people like this in my life....they are constantly accumulating crap and will "freak out" if there threatened with losing anything.
The more you live a "raw" and "un-clogged" life with very few possessions.....the easier it is to train and the less obstacles you will encounter. Additionally....you will "feel" a lot better....as any possession is energetically "linked" to you via cords....and some things can be very "heavy".
When it comes to "cutting" off unnecessary physical dross....this is the domain of the Root Chakra. Should you desire a trim....work with your spirit allies and go into the root, find energetic muck that relates to the physical excess around you....and start purging. Purge, purge and purge until you get down to the bare necessities (Food, Water, Clothes, Money.....etc) The more gunk your "burn off"....the more "space" for training.
The process of burning away excess "stuff", is beneficial to praxis....though be careful....its easy to do this when your young and don't have many entanglements.....but as you get older and more "established"....things can get a bit dicey. Yet, If you want to live the life of a Ronin badass.....go for it.

Shapeshifting forms for the Glyph Project:
Lotus Flower (Celestial)
Crystal (Astral)
King Cobra (Physical)
Rat (Underworld)
I came upon these shapes, due to wanting tools that are "idiot proof"......meaning that no matter how ill or broken a person's energy body, they can take up these forms and not be injured. That being said....messing around with any of these for an extended period of time will be an adventure. Each sphere has its own riches.....though its important to check into whatever energies are dominant in your current astrological cycle and then pick a form according to alignment. Messing around with forms counter to cycles, is sailing against the wind.
In reflection....i don't think I'll be able to make a high quality glyph of the 4 spheres in this lifetime.....the future cyclical patterns I'd need to achieve said Gnosis, are not forthcoming. At best, i may be able to map out 2 sphere before leaving the body. Time will tell.

I talked a bit about overheating the system in my Sexual Energy thread.....but wanted to write a bit more about it here. Looking back in my younger days of training....i can't help but think of how cooked my energy body became due to excessive mind-based meditation. When it comes to internal training.....i think of all 4 of these systems....the celestial is most prone to overheating....due to being governed by fire principles. Individuals who have high affinity for this sphere, may be even more prone.
If i were to go back in my youth....I'd of kept doing those high intensity meditation sessions.....but also have something like the lotus running in the background, so that I am "stabilizing" this sphere as i dive into the depths. This would've helped me a lot......as in these subtle arts.....when your a beginner, its very difficult to know when things are off-center.
All of these layers (Celestial, Astral....etc) can get imbalanced in one way or another....always good to keep your ear to the ground.
When you go to the water park, jump on a donut and float down the river.....allowing the stream to pull you forward. I was thinking about this as a cultivation strategy......get techniques you can put on "auto-pilot" that run 24/7....and then just move on with life....barely every doing any structured daily practice.
There's a ton of different ways you could do this....but a simple approach would be to figure out the dominant cosmic winds....shapeshift into a form that is aligned with those winds.....and let it roll baby roll. This "Lazy River" tech has its pros/cons.....but it's a strategy worthy of note. I'll have to keep tinkering.
I was watching a martial arts flick recently and like most of them....you see the main character soloing dozens of enemies, slaying them all in style. No matter how hard the "bad guys" try to kill the protagonist, he slips through there bloody net and achieves victory. Of-course, this is fiction....but i couldn't help but think of this in the context of training.
In life, I have tremendous respect for things that "endure". Sharks, Spiders, Crocodiles, Cockroaches......these are species that have survived whom knows how many apocalypses, continue to live on and will likely far outlast the human species. As someone who cultivates assiduously.....I've faced a great many trial and tribulations....but couldn't help but wish that early on....i spent more time making myself resilient, sturdy....unable to be broken....difficult to kill.
Whatever your energetic temperament (Fire, Water....etc), looking for energy forms within your current astrological cycle, that encourage extreme fortitude and cultivating them....is highly beneficial to long term training. On the path....there are no exceptions....you train long enough....your gonna get your head smashed into a wall.

Small Glyph Update
I'm messing around with a system that is made up off 82 Spheres. Every sphere being a energy center(Vortex, Orb, Chakra...etc) within each realm. So far I've noted:
I was reflecting on past ideologies that first introduced me to practical spirituality and some of the things that were "bad programming" within those systems. In high-school...a popular modern metaphysics circulating was "What the Bleep do We Know" and "The Secret". These are movies that emphasized the power of Intent and Visualization to achieve goals...basic magickal wish casting.
There are some positive qualities in these systems.....but looking back.....a few problems. One of the underlying cancers in this ideology, is the notion of a dead universe, which is just waiting around for you to cast intent and thus drop goody bags in your lap. In theory....this sounds good and is backed up by the general principles of spellcraft....but once you "dig into it" and start applying said principles....things get a bit dicey for a couple of reasons.
-Blank Slate Theory
-Blank Universe Theory
Blank slate refers to the idea that when were born....we have no past and no future....there is simply an open canvas of reality and we can dance along the "yellow brick road", weaving what we will. Experience has taught me otherwise.....beings who incarnate.....may move into form with specific intent (which we usually can't remember), have "contracts" we've agreed to pursue, ancestral baggage, relationship cords, karmic goo, be locked into astrological cycles, experience random trauma that hinders creativity......etc. The point is.....if we have goals....and are seeking to use the "law of attraction" to sync your vibration and "manifest" certain experiences....be aware....your not a "blank slate" and there may be a few challenges you face as a result (refer to Ganesha post).
Blank Universe Theory.....the idea that existence is an endless fertile field in which we can plant seeds and have them readily sprout with little effort via "law of attraction". This is a nice idea....but to piggy back on the previous blank slate.....existence is full of different "forces"......both internal and external that need to be navigated skillfully (Wheel Sorcery). Subtle Reality is a jungle.....all kinds of bullshit can happen or "has happened" (past lives, contracts....etc) that may block and challenge Linear Intentions. As a result....get ready for a fucking rodeo. Cheers.
