Navigating the Afterlife
Re: Navigating the Afterlife
I've heard stories of Fae, but don't recall ever meeting one. Met many other interesting (in all kinds of ways) people, but never Fae, at least not that I would remember. I wonder why. Maybe we just don't vibe, badly enough for them to never show up.
Harpies, on the other hand, as another example, I did had misfortune to run in to, and I hope those irrational and hysterical creatures will never cross their paths with mine. Real pain in the bottom.
Protocol? Probably there can never be any kind of universal protocol, one glove can never really fit every hand in existence
My personal one is to try and behave in a manner similar to as if I'm arriving for some holidays in to completely different country, with their own and different culture, own language, own and different nuances, different foods and social norms. I may have ideas and misconceptions in advance, based on rumors and stereotypes, but those should be kept somewhere in the back. And to try avoid using concepts, ideas and terminology developed by others, if I'm not certain of exact origins of those and intricate meanings behind those.
But yes, all those kind of guidelines get polished only through personal experience. Can't really master fire without getting at least 2nd degree burns, once or twice.

This conversation reminds me of that old Roadhouse scene: "I want you to be nice, until its time not to be nice."Cerber wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 11:53 pm I've heard stories of Fae, but don't recall ever meeting one. It's hard to go wrong with a solid foundation in PSD. Be nice, but able to kick ass when needed.

A small note.
I recalled that the translation for Chakra is actually "wheel" and have noticed that when you start manipulating and moving energy it spins. Just these little details....they reinforce my understanding of Wheel Sorcery. Riding the "Big Wheel" is the key.

Spiritual Immortality
Recently, I was having a conversation with spirit allies and they noted that I was spending a good amount of time focusing on Longevity practices. On that topic, they basically took me to the side and said:
“that’s fine, but spiritual immortality is more important than this very short life. Focusing on spiritual immortality, pays enormous dividends in the long term, compared to a healthier body.”
I’ve never had much understanding of spiritual immortality….so I asked for them to break it down for me and this is the general response I got:
“There are 2 basic polarities you can look at when talking about this concept: Immortal vs Lost Soul. Those whom have achieved “spiritual immortality” are highly skilled at navigating the spheres (ether, astral, realms....etc) It would be exceptionally difficult to trap, enslave or destroy beings of this nature.
Lost souls on the other hand…..are the opposite end of the spectrum. These Beings are weak, easily pushed and pulled by +/- forces, don’t have any knowledge of how to navigate the ethereal layers of existence and risk getting “injured” and tossed into the hell realms.....slowly ground up in the garbage layers of reality. “
This was an interesting conversation for me and was brought up in the context of shapeshifting.
I'm aware of the concept of "hungry ghosts" from the Buddhist Tradition and my 1st teacher talked about helping "trapped" spirits to continue on there way. I feel there is still a lot more to this i don't understand. Will continue to tinker.

Re: Navigating the Afterlife
The idea of crypto....is about creating alternate methods for "Storing Value". Banking systems are consistently playing "funny money" with everyone's assets and the government refused to dish out punishment....but instead gave bailouts.
As a result, the crypto movement emerged to resolve the issue. With crypto, you can put money in a wallet....jump to the other side of the world and as long as you have a computer....still access those assets and move them into your preferred currency (at-least this is the ideal).
In toying with Spiritual Immortality.....I see crossover between these 2 areas. By investing in Immortality.....your moving your focus to an eternal "storage", that you can access across time/space, planes and incarnations. Your "storing value" in the energy body.....value that once cultivated to a degree....is nearly impossible to strip away. Strategically....this may be the wisest investment.
This is still a confounding area of study. Gotta keep tinkering.

Re: Navigating the Afterlife
The direction is useful but my experience of the technical processes differs
Occasionally I am pointed at celestial situations. Almost always it is a matter of the players loving themselves, forgiving themselves, loving their difficult partners and forgiving them.
It seems that the god/logos using this galaxy as his body of manifestation is a god of love.
Thus right relationship is sufficient for the galactic lords of karma to release the entities from their pasts.
As for storage, the challenge is to release the dense energies. Loving oneself is the primary requirement

Love and Forgiveness are powerful. From a technical perspective, Love is good for cleansing, connecting and removing obstacles. Forgiveness, for releasing negative emotions.Amor wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2024 7:39 amThe direction is useful but my experience of the technical processes differs

Existence, is a complex soup of forces.....I haven't found simplifying things down to a monotheistic perspective particularly useful when it comes to navigation. For example, if you wanted help navigating death.....you might make offerings to a psychopomp of some sort....."high gods".....are often unavailable for comment.
I've had many experiences with said "Galactic Lords of Karma". Groveling at their feet or espousing "love".....is not sufficient a method to work through lifetimes of Karma. I assure you.....Balancing the Scales......is an exceptionally time consuming and painful process. No one Is Exempt.
Crypto and storage was meant as an analogy.
Re: Navigating the Afterlife
A couple more nuggets of gnosis, regarding Spiritual Immortality popped up. One of the few remaining impulses that weighs on me heavily....was the idea of having kids and "passing on my seed". As a man, there is a big drive to do this and as we age, that basic impulse becomes stronger. My life as an occultist, is to a degree......in conflict with this impulse.........
Yet, as i keep tinkering with SI.....I've received some gnosis, that relieved the pressure.....passing on genetics is not something that is limited by an incarnations time-span. Rather.....when we descend into the physical....."energetic traits" anchor into the the blood-line and express themselves through that genetic structure. As a result, my traits exist in subtle form (Astral, Mind...etc) and come forth in each incarnation. Thus....there's no rush in planting seeds.....you could reside in the void for an extensive period of time, then pick up another body.
Learning this, has taken a great weight off my shoulders.......i can live this whole life....without feeling like i've "missed my shot" on continuing the bloodline.....the mating game is eternal.

I noted before, a conversation with spirit allies on pursuing Longevity vs Spiritual Immortality and i was pushed in the SI direction. On the other hand....I've had some experiences, where i was doing Longevity practices that had a "holistic" effect on the body and helped prepare the body for deep cultivation. If the physical body is fractured or imbalanced.....spiritual exploration cannot occur....moving into intense energy states will be fraught with difficulty. A sturdier physical form.....will lead to less obstacles. As a result, for those desiring to pursue Longevity.....approaching it in this type of integrated way is optimal for all parties.
Wheel Sorcery......I saw this clip from The Professional......strong resonance.......buckle up, reality is filled to the brim with pain and adversity. Learn to ride the wheel......because its, "Always like this".

Another note on biological impulses (passing on your seed...etc). The more "attuned" I become to "eternity", the less strength this impulse has over me. Astral body cultivation, can be slow and challenging....but definitely has its rewards.
Re: Navigating the Afterlife
Wheel Sorcery....could be said to be a way of "skillfully relating to the cosmos". Gordon talks a bit about Time Magick in this clip and I felt it had some useful tidbits resonant to the topic. Cheers.

Soul Magick
Soul Cultivation....first came across the concept in Bardon's Initiation into Hermetics. Tis important work.....especially in the long term. In higher levels of occult skill....it demands attention.....or else. That being said, Bardon's methods are clunky(IMO). The soul mirror is nice in theory.....but much more subtlety is needed, as the soul is extremely profound.
On the other hand......working the soul is a tender process.....and doing so directly is haphazard. The best methods (for beginners), I've found so far, is using techniques present in the current your exploring. Say your In the midst of Underworld training.....you might ask the question.... what Underworld methods can i apply that will have an indirect affect on "strengthening" the Soul? In this way...you can hit 2 birds with one stone.
Soul cultivation.....early on....can help you avoid a nut-sack sandpaper grind session later. In truth, this field is still very difficult for me to understand......just looking at the Soul is "uncomfortable". From a physical perspective, I perceive the Soul as a energetic center behind my chest, but on a deeper level a construct in the astral body. Generally, my understanding of the soul is that it's a tapestry (or record)made up of all your actions. Depending on the tapestry design......it can be more or less difficulty to engage with certain energies and phenomena. Additionally, its constantly shifting in structure according to your present actions
Anyways.....I may or may not do future posts on this.....as i still find it difficult to parse. Time will tell. Cheers.

Re: Navigating the Afterlife
Food and Fehu
A small trick i've been toying with is using Fehu (the rune). Below is a small spell that can help you manifest physical resources (mainly food) and slightly help with your finances.
Make an offering of Fehu via vibrating the key and then ask one of your spirit allies to take this energy and use it to help those struggling in poverty. The goal of this technique is to indirectly create a "Web" feedback loop in which the energy will come back to your sphere. In toying with this, I've noted the results are 90% Food and 10% Money. Still, this is useful for those in a difficult spot and seeking to optimize. Cheers.

Volume Tech
This is a post for those whom are naturally "sensitive", "empathic" or have done a shit-ton of training and as a result....sense everything going on around them, without a means to parse. This is some tech to help control the "volume", so that it is easier to deal with both intense and day to day affairs. Three basic volume levels from lowest to highest.
Shadow Point
This is a energy center between the feet and is the lowest "volume setting" (as far as I'm aware). The basic idea is to anchor or tye your energy to this point so that you can control the volume and don't get "over-stimulated" by the amount of data your picking up on the subtle radar. The Shadow Point is the lowest volume setting and would personally use this for intense settings (violence, war-zone....etc) where you want to tightly limit data uptake.
Root Chakra
A very well know center, this is a slight increase/expansion in volume and is useful for close quarter and boisterous settings (concerts, parties...etc). Props to the KAP system for initially teaching me this principle. The idea of "sinking" your energy to the root or actively relaxing in order to manage subtle sensitivity is key....it was only many years later where I would connect these 2 ideas of tying up your energy to these points which would enable a constant state of energetic equilibrium.
Astral Nexus
A moderate volume that is best for day to day affairs. Tye your energy to this point on the Astral body and you'll be able to hit a nice middle ground (grocery store, chatting with friends...etc). If you are standing next to a person at the store, whom has a lot of "stuff" going on in there field.....it will be less of a gong in your ear and more like a tap on the window.
A small side-note, apologies, if this post is a bit arcane and unapproachable....when it comes to anchoring/tying energy flow.....these things are difficult to articulate. If you've read this post and are scratching your head....meditating with spirit allies to grasp the trick, is optimal. Cheers.

Wheel Sorcery: A Moral Paradigm
The Glyph Notes project, has been moving pretty fast in the Praxis thread.....that combined with the political superbowl in America, got me thinking about moral systems in the context of Wheel Sorcery (again). Here in the West, we (generally speaking) have inherited the paradigm of "all life is sacred", as a common moral trope. On the other hand.....I've been reading a ton of dark literature where life/death is treated casually. As a result....I decided to do an experiment and get the opinion of 4 different Intelligences, native to each realm and ask what the general "sentiment" towards life is in each:
Celestial: "Life is a sacred vessel for light"
Astral: "We don't care."
Draconic: "Anything that encourages life to evolve is good and anything that hinders evolution is bad."
Underworld: "Corrupted life is food."
-------------------------------------------------------------------
All of these responses surprised me and given religious institutions of the West, are heavily oriented towards the celestial....it makes sense that our moral paradigm would mimic said realm. Happy Halloween everyone. Cheers.
