Astral Projection and the silver cord.

Post by Flestod »

After having read on another social media discussion group talking about astral projection, two other people mentioned the same problem... several astral projections/soul travel experiences but never having seen this famous silver cord written so much about.

I have to agree with them. I've had many experiences with exploring spiritual landscapes and some of them have been with astral projection. Never have I ever seen anything reminding of a silver cord on any being ever encountered or on my own astral body.

It would be interesting to hear your opinion on this.

Traditionally the "silver cord" maintains a connection for the "soul" with the physical body

I have not seen one myself, but I always manage to find my body when I wake in the morning.

The only exception was long ago. I was meditating in an ex-chapel and when I opened my eyes I was in the wrong room.

So I closed my eyes and opened them again - and I was back in the room that I started from

The wrong room was familiar but in this consciousness I do not know where it is

As someone who done quite a lot of traveling "out there" before, I don't have good idea what "cords" other people are referring to, not seen any.
The only reference I have, is when handful time I needed "stronger" and "cleared" connection with something or someone, and I'd fully focus on it, it would often manifest/project/condense in to something clearly looking like a string/cord, usually grey or dark, rather than silvery.
But that's probably not the same thing.
