I've heard of people mixing tech with magick.....turning computer parts into talismans and talking to there computer(animism...etc). Haven't done too much of that myself.....but if your trying to summon a spirit to learn magick.....its not that hard and your going about it in a indirect way. Evoke the being, make offerings and receive guidance. Merlin is very approachable.....other spirits....will vary.
