Copper Bracelet Occult Virtues

Post by Neo »

I recently bought a copper bracelet which I now wear. Since putting it on, I now experience vivid dreams every night because I sleep with the bracelet on. Prior to this, I would have dreamless sleep and the occasional dreams here and there in a year. Now I have these vivid dreams every night.

Now what I want is to do is exploit these occult virtues of the bracelet in order to actually have lucid dreams or indeed have an out-of-body experience.

Is there anyone that can assist with this?

Metal bands usually block energy flows - until the metal is transmuted. Often, intent is sufficient to do that.

May we see this bracelet? It might offer some clues as to why it is having this effect. A copper bracelet is not what I would have picked for dream and sleep magic. Like Thanatos and Hypnos, death and sleep are hand-in-hand.

As for lucid dreaming, the movie Inception used a "totem", and so did I for my own experimentation. This totem should be small and able to be manipulated into controlled movement - in the movie the main character used a spinning top, whereas I used a pocket watch. When dreaming, the spinning top would not stop spinning, and as for my pocket watch, the hands would not have a natural flow, but tick too quickly or too slowly, or even flow backwards, and the placement of the numbers was never quite right.
Focus on your totem as you are falling asleep, waking up every so often to activate your totem and observe its behaviour. Keep at this until your totem behaves unnaturally - this will mean you have not woken up this time, but are dreaming and aware of it. Now you can try your hand at lucid dreaming, whether you wish to create your own reality or just go with the flow but able to make your own decisions.

A word of warning: the mind is not equipped to be aware all of the time but requires frequent and prolonged respite from awareness and decision-making. Too much lucid dreaming is draining on the psyche and will manifest in symptoms akin to sleep deprivation. Paranoia was something I struggled with, and I would often check my pocket watch to make sure I was actually awake before making a decision.
