How do you know that the Devil is not already speaking to you?

Observe your process for out-of-sequence thoughts. Where do they come from? Do they encourage particular types of action?

Always test before acting on such thoughts. Not all sources support human development. I learned the hard way - too often.

How do I know... what do I know... or what do I choose NOT to know. For Knowledge is Power, a Frequency.

As the Crone Reve in 2013 admitted on this forum that the power of Necessity "binds", one must know on a "need to know basis". (This correlates with the strength/integrity of one's Willpower).

But it gets more tricky with the Devil. Just like the behavior/frequency of Light is not definite unless it's observed, so is the Darkness, but in the opposite way (creates the entropy of Light to exist). Once observed, it creates more diversions.

However, don't doubt he/she/they peek(s) through your broken mirrors. So as vampires, we break a mirror first to see if the Devil is there. In the refraction of the Details, the Devil speaks. Human error? Or as the saying goes, the Devil is in the Details.

But then there's always "Lucifer"

Surely you can notice a thought that appears out of context for what you were thinking about. Look at those thoughts carefully.

Knowledge (more correctly: knowing) is useful for power but not necessary. Sometimes confused emotional energies can be powerful as with poltergeists triggered/fed by pubescent girls.

The more you know (at an experiential level) and the more integrated and refined is the persona (mask) the more nature spirits and other spirits will cooperate.

If the objective is outside the responsibilities of the local spirits then they often help once only - out of curiosity. That is known as beginners luck.

Regular cooperation requires close alignment between the human and the relevant spirits.

Knowledge is a reification. The state of knowing some situation/relationship/skill is removed from its context and turned into a noun with no context.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say, but that is to be expected as no definite vantage points of perspectives have been established betwixt us. If we consider the hypothesis that: All context requires an apex point of thought, and all thoughts require a sense of skepticism - then I agree and can work from here.

In the realm where a thought has no cohesion to another thought, it might be considered lunacy (Can be equated to the concept of doing the same thing but expecting different results = crazy/ Re-inventing the wheel). There's always a hidden string, a chain of reaction, a grounding force. Knowledge is memory to me that affects the contextual value of all known data, and the act of knowing is like your current processor. Just like in psychology, our current act of "knowing" on the conscious level doesn't necessary equal to all the memory we hold in our subconsciousness. One's a verb, the other is a noun. (Oh if only the dead can trade a noun of the past for a verb of the present.)

I love objectivity, but spirits flee from this realm upon objective spotlight, a realm of binding Necessity (It's hard to photograph ghosts and spirits). Cooperation always happens, but as an act of symbiosis - as constantly revealed in mother nature and her loving creatures, of Primal Necessity (The screams of pain in their souls as they eat each other).

I disagree when you say that Knowledge is a reification, where we treat an abstract concept, idea or relation as if it were a concrete/physical object. If that was the case, I'd be dead by now of the things I'd have muttered in my "less objective" state of minds.

Books? A written word you say? A vantage point of perspective, based on semantic definitions between the "assumed" objectivity of the masses and one's own "subjective" understandings - and yet all within your contextual understanding of it all? I read books like I eat food. Just like my words don't mean anything to you, unless they resonate to your subjectivity and personal experience.

But who are you to question my sense of knowledge and personality, Amor? Amor defined as some love or affection, telling me something about Objectivity? Even in Love, there is a backbone of hardcore objectivity that I deeply enjoy exploring. What do you find Objective about Love/Amor? Objectivity can always be relative as well
