Why I like Lucifer

Post by Occult Forum Archive »

Original post: videosage

I am not a Satanist, nor am I Luciferian. I really don't believe in any of it. I am a former christian, and used to beiieve in God, Jesus, the fact he died for my sins, etc, etc. I believed this with all of my soul...but, through chance and cimrcumstance I became illuminated, and for me there is no going back.

Years ago I belonged to a group which was affiliated with an organization called "the Urantia Foundation" which purported itself to be the 5th epochal revalation of Jesus Christ. It was there where I started questioning my faith in "The Lord", and ultimately came to realize that jesus christ, as in so many other sun gods, were based on ancient mythos, and not actual events. A no-brainer, really, but when you are brainwashed into a cult, it is hard to come to the truth.

It was and has been many years for me to realize that there is no hell, and I can honestly say that there is no fear of a hell, which I do not believe to exist. I am a bit of a dumbass, so I always hold out the possibility that I could be 100% wrong in this regard, but I don't think so, not enough to lose sleep over, certainly not enought to cry out to jayzesssss while I am on my death-bed. But my point on Satanists...

I love Lucifer because he embodies all the ideals that I hold true and dear to my heart. Lucifer, if anything, is a symbol of rebellion against what this age, or aeon, represents. Lucifer has indeed brought light to my life, and so I revere His name, if not worship it outright. If I had a choice between a heaven filled with hypocrites, and a hell filled with rebellious but sturdy, free-thinking souls, I would choose hell. Who wants to stand up forever and worship a lord whichs demands your obedience? Not I, sayeth the beggar!

I am enjoying reading the posts on this forum, and appreciate everyones ideas and opinions. We all have something in common, and that is we all are beyond the scope and power of the greatest hoax perpetrated upon mankind. I am proud to be a part of this group. Thanks for reading all of this bullshit. I am drunk so you have wasted your time, congratulations, pat yourself on the back haha! Hail Matanbuchus!

you must have said some of the best words i've ever heard come from the mouth of a drunk man.

I applaude you! Similar story to you, except I didn't join the Urantians; but I was even in love with the way they painted his picture as well.

That doesnt make you a dumbass. Most of the problems in this world are caused by people who think they are 100% right, and are certain of it.

Nice post :)

Well you should also research the historical aspects of Lucifer who was actually part of the Greek and Roman pantheon in the pre-christian Era. Lucifer, always androgynous because he was related to venus, had several names - phosphorus, Vesper. There is also the legends of Lucifer and Diana in the book of Aradia. Some even relate his stories to the tales of Prometheus and how "he brought down knowledge from the mountain" for humans.. Just some interesting pre-christian legends of the archetype of Lucifer..

I named him Lucas.. it sounds more or less modern.
=D

what with my renaming of spirits/deities/other supernatural beings...

that was a fun day.

Lucas says that Levi (Leviathan) is in the Burmuda Triangle.... poor mexico.. (i think..?)

Lucas was/is oft mistaken for Satan, but i'm sure satan was one those things that was there along with Eliott (God).... like ahura-mazda and ahriman.. they have "ALWAYS" existed...

stupid meso potato rats.. don't know the cosmos from the cliffs they jumped off

P.S. my words often seem like ramblings, disregard them if they are irrelevant

Actually forms of 'lucifer' were worshiped as the sun [ie, the bringer of light], and lucifer has alwyays ben associated with Venus, so there is an androgynous aspect with this Lucifer being, male/female

To me Lucifer represents the knowledge, the enlightenment side of Satan. For me Satan,Set,Ahriman, and Lucifer are all the same being. But I support anyone who supports any of these aspects or sides. So hail and praise Lucifer!!

Lucifer is from the Latin: it means Bearer of Light

If Enlil is Satan, then Enlil is Lucifer - approximately equal.

Both were sent to Earth to avoid a palace revolt in the planet of their father Anu.

Anu was the cupbearer (testing poison?) for Alalu . Anu took over the palace when Alalu was away.

Al/Il/El means both tall and god. Thus Alalu means tall-tall or god-god. Tall-tall is The Most High.

Humans stop growing in their 20s but the Anunnaki do not stop - becoming titanic/Titans. Thus the oldest Anunnaki is The Most High. Many of the structures found in this solar system are suitable for such tallness - including some Egyptian temples.

Lucifer/Enki made many genetic experiments to produce the current human format - into which suitable and unsuitable spirits may incarnate. Enki is strongly attached to his humans.

Enki was asked what he did when his body wore out. He replied that he made a clone and entered into that.

Corrected to say that Enki is Lucifer
