Thanks for the advie Lunakos the links were invaluable as well!
Unfortunately my new found fitness kick has resulted in my left arm being unable to extend fully

I hope this is normal...

I very rarely eat red meat and don't eat pork (makes me feel very crappy for some reason). Given up soda and other sugary drinks. I eat a lot of things with whole grain too. I still indulge in "bad food", just not everyday. I go for walks and do cardio and strength training 2-4 times a week at the gym. I've been doing this for a few years now, I'm in pretty good shape!
I've recently stopped drinking so much coffee (from 2-4 cups a day to 2 cups a week).

Im too embarassed to walk into a shop and drag out those huge buckets of powder with ripped musclemen on the label. Reminds me of those 50's ads for Atlas fitness when a weedy guy gets sand kicked in his face and Mr. strongman tells little Johnny how to get ripped and "give those raggamuffins a cauliflower ear sonny"

Nice info guys, good work on this thread, I'm finding it inspiring! :p
The only part of my body I exercise are my fingers (from typing you know). Otherwise, I'm virtually still for the entire day. I really would like to learn various martial art techniques, but unfortunately I don't have the motivation. This probably revolves around the lack of proper diet?
Diet you say? Absolutely none, I eat some of the worst food you can imagine. My staple consists of Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper, McDonald's, Jack in The Box, Pizza Hut, and a poisonous amount of sweets.
Honestly, I'm not sure how I'm still alive?
Strong constitution?
I've taken to sitting in half lotus at my computer, maybe you could try that? Posture is as much yoga as anything else, so sit up straight, head high. Finger yoga is important too!

An easy transition into a healthy diet is preferable, you could start just by replacing sugar pop with carbonated water.
I eat Mcdonald's too, the key is knowing what to order. You can order a salad, for instance, or a fish sandwhich, no Mayo.

Not to get too off-topic but isn't that like going to a liquor store and buying lemonade? Come on!!!
As for posture, I can't tell you the temporary boost in energy and concentration and general mood I got from doing yogic breathing and a few beginner kundalini and yogic exercises, even stretching seems to benefit me, although as I said only in short bursts.
I also noticed my tolerance fhas increased and angry outbursts have lessened while doing breathing and posture practise. I mean, I don't think the answers are all in how you carry yourself, if that was the case I'd believe in chiropracty, which needless to say I don't.
Anyway, I would recommend breathing exercises for anyone, especially smokers as my lungs are tarred up and I have become accustomed to shallow breathing from sucking in poisons half the day.

The Warrior Diet mostly involved a fasting phase, followed by a feasting phase. The general recommendation is to eat one meal a day, usually at night time. Of course, this "meal" is about the size of three normal meals, and may be eaten over the course of several hours.
My natural eating pattern is similar. Sometimes I go for days without eating, and then I'll just up and raid the fridge.

Me also do some cardio and yoga exercises in my daily routine.
Both of these exercise provide good solution for the weight control and fitness maintenance.
I think if we do yoga and cardio workout properly, we need no any gym and weight training for maintaining a good fitness level.
