This site has a forum and dreamwork courses, free as far as I 'm aware, lol. It might be good for you to check out the information and experiences on here, weezy.
I am looking around for more info, most of what I 've found so far, echoes the first link I put up,so it may just be more of the same, explained slightly differently.
More soon.

Guess what Tubbie? You've just won the lot of Tary! Morpheus got so excited he had to go see the fox. It took the fox 10 hours and a whole 10 wheeler truck of herbs to calm him down. Finally Morpheus got his voice back and told the fox what you said. The fox has agreed to imbue your dreams with new meaning! He has been dispatched!hobotubbie wrote:? Re: Why so many nightmares
akimbomoss, you are a strange person, even in a room full of strange people, lol. [crazy]
We are going a little sideways here,I enjoy your viscerally descriptive style, but I think hobotubbie has a point, you are maybe a bit intense, for someone who is just starting out.Can you rein in your excitement a wee bit? Just a tad perhaps? [geek2]

This is an interesting article on Dream Yoga/Buddhist perspectives,on an interesting site.I recommend reading as much as you can, being well informed is the first step, weezy.
How are you doing recently anyway weezy? Are the dreams /nightmares calming down any yet?
Is there any particular area you wish to explore more or need some help with?
Please let us know if there's anything more specific we can help with.
@hobotubbie,cheers,you find them interesting? I 'm looking for as much as I can get,but I noticed a similarity in what I 've found so far and I know there is much more out there,I just gotta refine the search somewhat, lol.

Re: Why so many nightmares
Yes i'm quite interested in this.. i was away from it for a while tho because of personal reasons and i have a really bad schedule.. i usually go to sleep very late and wake up relatively early so i think that takes away some sensitivity but i'm changing that.. i think lucid dreaming or astral projection are really important for ourselves and if you are a solitary student like me they are very meaningful since it's one of the only means you have to try to understand more about your nature.
Saying that yes.. i'm interested in articles aswell about almost everything including this.. if it's a good reading its good for me =)

Yes. Thank you for reminding me to be humble. Gratitude. Every now and then we should observe The Power of Silence (Carlos Castaneda). [shh]Nahemah wrote:Can you rein in your excitement a wee bit? Just a tad perhaps? [geek2]

Re: Why so many nightmares
I was, some time ago.I got lazy, lol.I still use Pranayama techniques but not as often as I should.By the way nahemah are you a yoga practitioner?
Hatha yoga is my yoga of choice and preference.
Do you practice?
I do intend to get back into it,but I keep procrastinating about it.Our local community centre no longer offers classes,so I will have to go further afield to find a class.I need to find a teacher,as I have subsequently added some battle scars, which occaisonally play up,so I need to work around some physical issues.
@akimbomoss: I enjoy your posts, please do not be silent.I hope I didn't offend you any, your input is valued and I just thought maybe pulling back a little might be best for now.I don't know if you realise this, but you are way ahead of a lot of folk on the dreamscaping and walking aspects and you are describing methods and scenarios that weezy might not be able to understand or work with effectively ,at this time in his development/situation.

Re: Why so many nightmares
Actually i never practiced yoga i've always been more into martial arts.. but i'm interested in started i am close to some people who practice it and it seems to be very good specially for people like me who live in considerable big cities and have to face the daily stress :S
You are talking about physical battle scars? That might be kinda personal for you tho.

Re: Why so many nightmares
Yeh,I got a bit battered, but you should have seen the other guy! Lol.
I have inter costal cartilage, from broken ribs and a damaged nerve in the right brachial area.
It took me ages to get used to the extra weight and 'pull' on my right side, breathing was out of balance, unequal, more effort on the right was needed.Pranayamic breathing helped a lot with the recovery on the ribs, any body who has busted a rib or two can agree I 'm sure, breathing takes on a whole new significance, for the first while.
It's mostly fine, nowadays but I get the odd twinge now and then.Same with my right hip area,I had a sacral plexus injury there too, fracture in the bones and some nerve damage.Odd twinge there too from time to time.
I think It's always best to consult a teacher,if you have health issues, before attempting any but the most basic of postures.Especially ,if like me you've been out of practice a long time.
Yoga is a good physical exercise and more.
Tai Chi would be a good way to complement your Marital arts too, would it not?
I am only just starting to read about Dream Yoga,in any depth. It's fascinating.

Re: Why so many nightmares
wow that's tough .. i hope you get fully recovered.
Funny that you talked about tai chi i used to practice wushu kung fu + sanshou (chinese boxing), the last one being the one where i was better.
During some trainings when i was younger i actually practiced tai chi because there was that variation at the academy and its quite similar to wushu just in a slower pace to master the energy that you can generate, but how can i explain, the problem with tai chi and yoga to me is it that it's too slow
I'm still a considerable young lad and i find it kinda boring to take the time to do such exercises .. even tho with the time passing i really feel that i need it. I suffer a bit from anxiety .. nothing big just a problem that alot of the world population have even tho they don't realize it .. you know that feeling that you don't breath correctly it affects your nervous system the blood pressure and consequently the quality of you life.
Normal stuff for those who live in crowded crap cities :\
Ye what grab my attention was when you spoke about dream yoga .. honestly i have never heard about it and it looks interesting.
I think i'm gonna give it a try really .. see how it feels. Maybe meditate more aswell helps.. i'm kinda lazy when it comes to those kind of things.

Re: Why so many nightmares
DO NOT TAKE ANY SORT OF PLANTS OR ANY OTHER DRUGS TO GET RID OF YOUR NIGHTMARES.
This is completely normal, you are going through an awakening. You are starting to get a grip on your lucid dreaming capabilities.
Review the psionics section here if it is still there and search for Astral Projection.
This is important and you are almost there.
If you need any help let me know.

Re: Why so many nightmares
http://www.exercisetv.tv/workout-videos/yoga/ what i use for yoga when there arent any classes also great other workouts as well.
Sorry for being uninvolved for a while my brother just got married and I was the best man busy busy busy.
-Gonna go through this, first of all my meditation practice has always been on a bed, hold my hands together to feel my pulse, and a yellow ball of light sometimes comes and rolls over my body giving a great calming effect. The best way I know how to relieve body stress quickly [thumbup] and it only comes when I need it.
-I have stopped spending so much time on the internet and have been listing to music more [yay]
-The fact that there are hundred(throughout my being there would be thousands [exclaim]) understand a little about dealing with larger numbers then the average person I've been called a spiritual conduit that draws in these metaphysical beings but sadly it works for good and it works for bad. The biggest advantage is being able to tell someones spiritual status instantaneously (i remember talking to a priest right before his death and his aura was more angel then human [zomg] ). With the downside of having to deal with a sorta spiritual attack almost constantly mostly piss-ants but ants can be dangerous in large numbers
-Had a reacurrent dream (things coming out of my mouth) once i realized this I jumped and started to fly. Pretty much flying then to much emotion followed by calming down and more flying and just went back and forth between easy flight and losing my powers until i flew over water my foot touched the water and the touch sensation was to much so i laid on the bottom of the ocean trying to maintain control over the dream (oh i could breath water too [yay] )
-I've come to the conclusion that I need an extended session with a spiritual guide and I'm going to keep with you all to. Basically what has happened is I've closed myself completely behind a shield (a funkin fortress at this point). It started getting bad when several terrible events happened virtually in tandem (best friend drank himself to death, friend gets cancer, first love leaves me, grades in college suffer, research suffers followed by psycotic break loss of jobs). Looking through my life I have never failed in getting through a challenge and need to look past the fact that even after success a bad result can occur, but focus on that I've never failed.
-The first step (getting an extended session with a spiritual guide) is proving to be much more difficult then it should be because the second I put my intentions in that direction I get violently ill (hacking up phlem, throwing up, paralyzing dizziness, headache, depression [crymore] ), but c'est la vie. Ok 'nough talking for now time to do some reading [happyface]

Try this: think about me being your spiritual guide and see what happens.weezyfosheezy wrote: The first step (getting an extended session with a spiritual guide) is proving to be much more difficult then it should be because the second I put my intentions in that direction I get violently ill
I'm sending you a PM with my phone number if you feel well enough to talk.
