Thanks for the recommendations guys - I'm a bit buried in other reading just now, but I'll keep track of that list and get started on the subject when I have a chance. It's been a while since I did any reading on Norse mythology, so I figure I'll start with going over the Eddas again, then hit up one of the 101 books and go on from there.

Speaking of 101 books - any thoughts on Teutonic Myth and Legend by Donald Mackenzie? I grabbed it on kindle when it popped up cheap in the recommendations, but didn't have time to do more than browse it quickly.
