Yes.
It is called "negative subconscious resistance".
It is the governing critic of your belief system.
You and I - and just about everyone else here has been raised to be critical of our reality.
Figure out the equation of your (N.S.R.) and then apply it to the rest of your magickal equations.
And just so thee knoweths; Thy (N.S.R.) equation is not static - it is dynamic: Thus... You will have to constantly be figuring out your new temporary n.s.r. equations in order to apply them to your workings for far greater success. ~

And remember what Bardon said about trying to do those things. It's a waste of time and you could do some REAL work, real HERMETIC work.
I don't remember bringing up Bardon in this thread.
I'll take my own life path. Thanks for leaving your opinions out of it.

Thanks for leaving your opinions out of it.
This is not how forums work. You don't get to dictate who can respond to posts or topics.
You are perfectly free not to consider the content or respond to a particular member or posts, however.
With this in mind, there is an observable pattern to your defensive reactions on this forum.
I will need to check if this is still active here, but...
I also believe we have an ignore function should you wish not to see certain members activity and this is general information for anyone else reading too, though it is not something I recommend, personally speaking as you can miss out on wise words and strong information that be may helpful from that member, written elsewhere on the forum, when you do this.
Edit: We do, it's the friends and foes tab, in the user control panel.

I skimmed through the thread again. I agree, Desecrated offered the solution. The best one as I see it. Modifying our concept of reality. It's obviously more akin to a sliding control than a switch. Little by little over time, and augmented by Magickal results(I would think). This automatic repulsion of irrational truths, would dissipate. The enhanced reality seeping into the subconscious over time reducing or eliminating conflicts with practice.
Now I've made a mountain out of a mole hill. I don't give it any special attention myself. I mostly ignore it. I have enough to do as it is. I do see it as a subtle nuisance though.
I'd see this as being more of a problem for someone not getting any results, like, its a silly idea, of course it doesn't work. Reality and rationality agreeing with one another. But when you get results, its PROOF. Its REAL. Then the rational mind can go f*** itself in this context.

Posting back on topic again : ok.
Commentary on a moderator intervention after the fact, when the original derailment is the subject matter of such intervention?
Not so ok.
There is absolutely no need for this and the posting rules/ moderator commentaries ( where staff judge it necessary) are not subjective or open to interpretation either. When a staff member intervenes informally in a discussion they do so as 'a friendly shot across the bows', metaphorically speaking, so, if this form of address is ignored or challenged then our options begin to move towards infractions and/ or deletions, depending on circumstances.
Please be aware of this and take note.
Any further commentary made like this, will be deleted.
Now back to the topic once more, if you will...

What is your position on the resistance of our subconscious mind?
How do we defeat it in a short amount of time?
How do we calculate the value of the level of our current belief system?
I really don't know more about this other than wht N.S.R. implies.
Your feedback would be most helpful.

What you call being "defensive", I call being intolerant of piss-poor, not-thought-out answers.
It seems to me that increasingly few members here take anything anyone does around here any seriously.
