I guess that´s up to the individual wether self harm is considered disrespecting the self or transgressing a border in order to show devotion/sincerity to the path.

But what's the point of a pact that relies entirely on you, the individual? And it's of course up to an individual to self harm,that's their body and their right. But from my studies it seems Set appreciates a bit more self respect,self control, and evolved magical methods.

Uh, I think you misread my comment. I never said you supported JoS, only that the OP likely isn't on a Setian path at all. He specifically discussed doing self-harm rituals to "Father Satan" off the JoS website, which is a different entity altogether if you could even call it that.

I should add that the Sirius group put a control on inner plane initiations for those on the left hand path.

Left hand path initiates are not permitted to control what Christians call the soul (the higher mental body). Thus the left hand path is very short
