I had a dream that I had found out that some old guy had died. I decided I would go to his home and see if he had any books I could have. Bare in mind that I did not know this person. I arrived at a house. It was some sort of old victorian made with bricks. To my knowledge there is only one such house in my town, and it didn't look like the one in my dream. Anyway, the housekeeper let me in to look around the home. I found the library, which was small, only consisting of one little, humble bookshelf. One that looked exactly like one of my own. On it were all types of books, from all manner of subjects completely related to one another, much like my own. But here and there were books by Crowley. I started picking them out at stacking them on a nearby table. When I had found all the ones that I wanted, I looked at the housekeeper and said, "I'll be taking these." She just nodded and walked away, after which I left the house with the stack of books.
So, yeah, that was interesting...

I had a dream that was out of the ordinary strangeness about a weak ago.
First there were some blurred conceptions about computer-logic or something, and then I found myself at a desk in some type of classroom. On the desk there was a laptop and several huge toads or frogs, I think at least one of them was statues or had their leg bound. I was fiddling with the computer to get a movie on. Some noisy impatient kid asked me if I would ever start it up. I had a hard time seeing the screen. Then the movie started showing on a projected screen beside me on the wall. I saw an intro screen of some sort and heard a womanâ??s voice saying - "Gnostic Meditations" and then "Why we react so strongly seeing caries attack teeth." I think it was some strange allegory for the degeneration of the soul/mind. Then I saw one of the big toads trying to jump of the table and I tried to catch it so it would not fall. Then I saw a girls head from the side close up, she was sweating heavily and her hair was kind of glued to the forehead. Then I kissed/licked her next to the ear and asked why she was sweating. Sheâ??s kind of known to me since before. Then the dream ended suddenly because something in my room fell over and made a loud noise. I don't remember if I found something that had fell the next morning though. By the way, later next day I associated kissing the girls head and grasping the toad with an episode of Simpsonâ??s where he was a missionary on an island and he licked the head of magic toads...

I dreamed that I saw a man with long dark hair and a woman with long blonde hair both about 18 scrying into a silver ball about 10 inches in diameter with a small circle on it. I saw this third person in the dream as if I were scrying it myself. I then travelled for a while and ended up in a restaurant with tall barstool seats around tables. The blonde woman was working there as a waitress. I talked to her about meaningless things for a moment then I told her that I had to ask her a question and she wasn't going to like it. She said "go ahead". I told her that I was looking for the silver sphere and that I wanted it and that I knew that she had it. Then I asked her where it was. She got a look of fear on her face and backed away into the kitchen door. Then, I woke up.

[QUOTE=Sud Ram]The thread of dreams. Tell us all about them and thay'll be dissecated into something you can understand.
Have no fear, a dream is an aspect of yourself with multidimensional repercussions. Bad things that happen are always a good sign so tell us even your worst nightmares.
Dream work is sacred and can open doors for deep healing, dive into this experience.

OK I'm not sure which ones to talk about, Ok th first one is about my job to put a pair of plastic bat wings onto a broomstick for a bus driver who ended up crashing the bus into a popular shoe shop because he was looking back and trying to talk to me. He was speakin in a spanish accent.
The second was about a raffle competition. A characterised spider won a perfume kit. She started to make potions and perfumes. i can't remember what else happened before.

I had a dream where I was I was looking for something I've been wanting to happen for a really long time, and I was feeling really lost and desperate and loosing hope when all of the sudden the dream cut away and showed me an image of a ring with a double heart with diamonds, but thenm it morphed into a single red heart shaped jewel with diamonds around it on a pink background with the words "It will happen soon..." written on a banner and a very calming, soothing man's voice kept saying "Don't worry, just be calm".

So what I'm wondering... (and I wonder about it with other divinatory/interpretive systems so if there are opinions on this in general and someone wants to PM me I'd be interested)...is what makes someone else able to interpret for you? I have some dreams I'd like interpreted but I've been told to avoid books on dream symbols and such, and since I'm not sure symbols are cross cultural with the same meanings, I'm somewhat skeptical. Opinions?

I know I've mentioned this before. I'll say it again. Dreams are cultural and personally based. You're belief system or lack of one has a big impact on dreams too. I rarely dream of things that can be interpreted through the books and websites. When I do they are way off for me. However there are many others they've been incredibly accurate for. So keep asking questions about dream interpretion.
My advise is read the books, check out the websites. What might not work for you might work great for somebody else and visa versa. Keep a dream journal and learn from it and let it guide you. Observe what the symbols mean for you personally. I hope that this helps.

I dont really think dreams have to tell you a lot about life or your problems or anything, i think its just random stuff in your head that you think about and you take it a little strange. like i slept in geo class today and i dreamnt about a guy that couldnt touch a blue hat on his head. i dont think thats saying much about the world

Hey Sud Ram. This isn't actualy one of my dreams, it was one of my friend's, she said she mind me posting it if I don't mention her name. Anyway:
It started at school (we're in high school) and she was in assembly. At the end of assembly the teacher said that one of our other teachers had to talk to her and her friends (let's them X and Y) at her house. For some reason the teacher was living on the school premises, next to the oval, and when they got there the teacher said that one of her other friends (z) had to switch commerce classes. When my friend asked why the teacher said it was like this... she pulled out a wind up teddy bear, put it on the ground and it started waving its arms around going "la la la la la". That's all she could remember.
Does this drem actually have meaning or is it just random?

I'm relatively new here... a friend who passed on had introduced me to these forums and I have been in a moving spree as well as other things keeping me quite occupied... so forgive me for posting this here if there's a forum for this. I didn't know where else to put this.
I had a dream not too long ago, on Halloween in fact, and I put it in my dream journal
. Anyway, the image I saw stayed in my mind. It's hard to explain so I'll just go ahead and write what I wrote in my journal. It's about the only way I can think of explaining it.
"We were in some kind of museum watching a film on something that I couldn't make out. I'm also certain that I was sitting beside an old school friend named Mel. Under one of the cases [in the museum, near the film area] was an old Egyptian book about the dead that I knew [by feeling] belonged to the Egyptian god Osiris. I also knew there was alarms on the case. I took the book anyway. No alarms sounded. There was a strange symbol on the cover and the book felt leathery, though I don't know what material it was. The symbol kinda looked like this. It was red in color [a rust colored red on a brown leathery cover]. Schoolmates [around me] knew what I was doing and seemed concerned, but told no one about what I did. At the end of the movie, the curator looks at me suspiciously, but says nothing. I get to my car, which looks like a [silver] BMW and Mel is already inside. She was apparently waiting for me. I let her drive us through Copperas Cove [where I used to live], going over this scary hill that made my innards figuratively come up to my throat. I also noticed she was going forward, even though she was in reverse. I asked her to put it in Drive, but she refused, saying it didn't matter what drive [the position] it was in. Then she drove it like a manual car."
So there it is. The eye, which you see up there if you click [the best I could do on Photoshop as far as drawing something like that], stayed in my mind the entire day and night, literally, until I fell asleep. It felt rather strong to me, having some form of meaning or something. I'm not sure what to make of it.
I did a little research and wound up learning a little on the eye of Horus and a little on Horus giving Osiris one of his eyes or something, but as I'm still a little... new... to this, I ask you kind people to please help me out with this.
Thank you for your time and thoughts.

Well here's a dream I had was wondering what yous guys thought about it, so here goes.
There is a military organization of sorts, secret organiztion, they're
base of operations is mansion type of house that has been converted to a
high tech training facility with a few rooms dedicated to psionics
research and mission tracking.
A tall blonde woman is the officer in command she has emerald green eyes
and wears green and black dress that is deep emerald with black tribal
designs, the dress stops around her knees and she is wearing combat
boots, hi techs.
There are two more women and two men in the organization, these people
are specialist, one woman is a combat specialist, the other is a scholar
of paranormal phenomena and a decently powerful psionics user. One man
is a skilled hacker, and the other is a weapons specialist.
They are in a dark room, discussing something about a recent mission when
the blonde woman walks in with a little girl who is apparently eight or
nine. She is of the upmost importance, yet seems deep inside a trance
state, everyone instantly recognizing the girl, and salutes. The older
woman issues an "at ease" command and they discuss something about the
safety of the girl.
Scene changes and I am applying to work at a second job Long John
Silvers, as well as the gas station. I get hired and start talking to
the people I'll be working with, a young bruenette girl, and a semi
familiar male who is about half my height who has like a pudding bowl
hair cut, brown hair, brown eyes. They tell me they are going to the
best Laser tag place in three states, and ask me to come along. So I
agree.
I drive my truck to the place, the bruenette girl rides with me, when we
arrive it is a large wharehouse like building outfront of the mansion
from earlier in the dream. We get in line behind the short guy we work
with to get our gear, the bruentte says she already has hers and runs on
to where the games will start, I notice there are alot of people here.
I'm standing infront of the weapon checkouts with that guy I had met at
work looking at the different options when suddenly the short guy says,
"Neo." then a few seconds later again "Neo." I'm still looking at the
weapons and he says it again, so finally I'm like "What!?", at this point
I realise I'm alseep so I continue to ride the dream. The short guy,
seems surprised I know whats going on and says "I'm not talking to
you...", we get our equipment and exit the warehouse, and go up towards
the Mansion.
I creep into the mansion, and the blonde woman is with the brunette girl
and they can't find the little girl, when I step around and click my
trigger a few times. The blonde woman says "What are you doing here!?"
to which I reply, "Messing with you." and then I walk back outside to see
the little girl walking into a shed.
I follow her into the shed and the short guy is behind me, we enter a
large hi tech bunker where two of the women and the hacker guy is, we are
behind the girl, and they all freak out "What are you doing in here?"
asks the combat specialist chick. I say "We followed the girl." Then I
hear the short guy chuckle and say in a very distorted gurgling voice
"Your all fools this girl is mine." and he transforms into this pulsing
mass of organs and tentacles as an artery like tube extends from him
slurps down the little girl.
I just say "Man thats just not cool." and I pull a loaded .45 caliber
silver plated handgun with the infinity side-ways 8 etched in the handle,
and fire off three shots before waking.
Also as soon as the first shot was fired my perspective changed to that
of the first bullet, and I heard the other two shots fire, and upon
impact of my perspective(the first bullet), which was graphic as it began
penetrating the mass of organs that was the demon/entity I awoke.
(Amendment)- I reentered the dream after doing some trance work, pulling
a K-Bar knife from my boot I advance on the demonic mass of organs, and
slice the mass open and remove the little girl, once I have her I
mentally cause the creature to incinerate. I them force a field of
energy to traverse the blonde girl, disposing of the residue lingering on
her from being within the creature. I pull her close to me kneeling to
hold her. Which is when I started to make love to the girl, the military
operatives start to advance on me to get her away, which is when I say
"No. You fools have failed I will protect her." as a blue pulse of
energy expands from me and throws them all against the walls. After the
girl and I are satisfied I take her into my brow chakra where she is
hidden within me, and I wake.
Any thoughts?

Damn. I have had a couple of dreams on this calibur, but something else has got me thinking. Prehaps the popular images and archtypes we see everyday ie Neo in your dream. Have acctualy become tangable thoughtforms on the mental, or astral levels. Just imagine all of the people that have drempt of Neo, and other popular images. Surely this would give rise to some sort of conciousness. I belive this may be something worth some serious experimentaion.

While not wanting to take attention away from those who are trying to get help with their dreams, I would like to post a couple of dreams that got me thinking recently:
1.) I was at college, when suddenly my eyes starting weeping tears of blood. This was much to everyone's horror. I woke up after, in the dream, I ran to the toilet and saw the blood on the tissue I dabbed my eyes with.
2.) I was walking through the woods (nothing unusual, as I always go for walks there), listening to some music on my personal CD player. Suddenly I was confronted by a brown bear. It didn't seem aggressive or dangerous, but nevertheless, a white being, which I interpret as an angel, flew down and tried to drag me up whilst saying "Let me save you"
It may be important to note that the music on the CD player was the Crucifixion track from the Passion of Christ soundtrack, and this dream was around the time when I was dabbling with a dangerous cult. Namely, the JoS. Creeped me out, but it anyone can perhaps interpret any of these (the first one being the most recent), I'd like to hear from you.
Thanks a bunch if you read this far!

so i had this really long, random dream, and it's the first dream that i've had in such detail and vividness that i've been able to wake up and remember almost everything that was a large part. some insight would be incredibly helpful
Had a really weird dream. Really disturbing. Long and crazy. Started off as Erik and I going to Richmond, which really looked like Middleburg. I think Winston was with us, and maybe Meghan, Reis and Nikki. Anyway we started driving around and we stop because some kid wants a ride, so we drive to Safeway. Then Erik goes and buys alcohol, the kid that we picked up gets mad because we wonâ??t give him any. Weâ??re sitting outside in the parking lot and all of a sudden we just know that the kids told the cops, so we hide the alcohol, or I do, under a car, in the plastic bags, the bottles break and what not. Erik decides that he has to go with the kids to avoid arrest. So he does. I get a message from Matt thatâ??s really random and bitchy. As well as some kid that doesnâ??t speak English well and is rambling. I hang up the phone perplexed and out walk Matt and Tom. We all hop into Erikâ??s truck, how I donâ??t know how, since he was off driving the other kids. In hops Reis, in the driverâ??s seat, Matt in the passengers, Meghan by the window behind the passenger, me behind Reis, and I donâ??t know where Nikki and Tom were, but they were there somehow. I say to Reis â??Remember his car is stick, so make sure you know how to drive itâ?Â

Kaz - Yeah it was a freakin rush to say the least, I was confused as to why I was using a gun at first though, having not used one in a dream in about six years.
Acorn- Yeah, thats something I've thought about myself.
Although I would like to add that the short guy seemed to react to me becoming lucid in an almost surprised manner. Like he was from outside my normal conciousness.

Dream last night was the kind where you wake up thinking "Shit, it was a dream."
Well actually, it was a weird one. I was getting robbed... blatantly - thieves were walking into my house and up the stairs, the police said they couldn't do anything unless they had photographs of the guys stealing (heh, dreams are weird). All the while, an exceptionally beautiful girl was with me. Apparently she and I were in love or something, but then she dissappeared.
After that I went upstairs and beat one of the thieves to death with the large key I use to bring the ladder down from the loft... ¬_¬ And the other thieves legged it... with all my new computer hardware. Meh, I shrugged. At least I'm still alive and have Helenna, which was apparently the girl's name: Pronounced "Hel-EN-a" stressing the EN bit. 'Course, she'd vanished, so I went on a search for her.
Somehow my almost novel-esque search took led me to the Vatican (yeah... I know) where I found an old painting featuring the girl! Then I was confronted by some high-ranking priestly types, who after trying to get me to leave, seemed to start looking demonic. The last thing I remember in that dream was saying out loud: "Wait... Helenna is an angel isn't she? I have to save her!" Then the demons disappeared and I woke up.

I have been having this reoccuring dream for years and I have never been able to decipher it so take your best shot.
I strt standing on grass. I gross a road with a motorbike and then a truck stopping to let me pass. I walk up to a house with a black front door and enter. Right infront of me is a staircase. To the left and right of the stairs are identical dining rooms. I go up the stairs and go down a long hallway of doors. I go to the door right at the end of the hallway. It is yellow. I open it. I want to go into the room but as soon as I open a door this big jet black creature leaps out at me and then I wake up.
Have fun trying to figure out this one guys

Dreams are about our unresolved emotions in the waking consciousness. The symbols used are scenes that help us to determine what the message is for our consciousness.
Many people have a talent for getting to the bottom of dream interpretation. The ultimate message is for the dreamer themselves. Even while some symbols have been identified and written about in dream interpretation books, the fact is, it is what the symbol means to the dreamer themselves in their life and circumstances.

I've been trying to get back with an ex girlfriend of mine... This may be important since both dreams involve her.
In the first dream, we were walking from opposite sides of the hall in my apartment building, and when we passed eachother, we stopped, and engaged in a staredown, as though one of us was going to strike the other.
A few days later, I dreamed we were happy, friendly, as though we were dating again. Any help here?

What I remember of the beginning is being by myself at Cindy's house, but I was only outside but I kept feeling other energy signitures and I saw a few astral entities moving about outside her home, but this seemed to me like a normal thing like it happened alot although there was a sense of caution. I believe things were like the other dream in the scattered government, factions fighting over things in cities, controlled chaos.
After checking her house to find it empty save for a few of her possession, I go back to our forticfication at Josh's house, where Cindy and the others are and I let her know that there's no one in her house but that its crawling with astral critters. We then have a conversation about the current state of things in the dream, which went from forces of man into astral and religious contexts, subject Cindy showed herself to be strongly versed in. She talks about not having some of the things from her home she missed.
Matt and I go back to her house on our patrol, and we scout the perimeter again then enter it. Inside the house has been raided there is food stuff and paper thrown about, but two of the things I came to reclaim for her are still in her room, her sword and the stress balls I got her for her birthday. We get these and Matt and I are talking and I say "We need to get back before she decides to come out here" and Matt says "She won't come out here she's almost out of gas" and I'm like "Yeah well lets not take chances" which is when a few of the girls and I think Josh show up in Tinky's Golf, Cindy is with them. This is when we come under fire and everyone scrambles into the house for cover.
We're all armed save for some of the girls, so I tell Matt "You cover them, I'm going to eleminate the enemy" to which Matt nodds and Josh says "Your not going into this alone, I'm going with you." and Cindy and the girls tell us to Be careful. Josh and I start to move through the woods towards the enemy which is when I wake up.
