I think I'm fried on the occult now
And that does not indicate that that there will never be scientific evidence to back up the occult.

There already is plenty of evidence, but the scientific community by and large rejects it quite harshly.
Yes, there is plenty of evidence, but the really good stuff is something
that the scientific community won't link to the Occult. They're not
willing to ignore Dark Energy, Dark Matter, quantum physics and how
it is affected by consciousness, et cetera. I have a thread in which I
describe some properties of a type of energy and asked people what
kind of energy it was.
The answers were "love," "god," "thought," "chaos," et cetera. All of
those answers fit very well. However, what I was describing was
Dark Energy! Something which occupies 73% of the Universe's mass,
and something that is driving the accelerated expansion of the Universe.
It is the energy which holds galaxies together (gravity is far too weak
a force to do this on its own - galaxies are too large for gravity alone to
keep cohesive).

Yep. That's what I refer to as consciousness or Dark Matter or Tao. It is the something that "holds up" everything else. It gives it form. I believe it goes like this on a descending scale: thought --> energy --> matter.
