I'm giving serious thought to just letting him in and allowing him to run hog-fuck wild for a few days... See the end results.

Bet it'll be hilarious.

The Joker, i am so glad i stopped at this particular spot on the web. Was some of my finest magick, i used heath ledger, joker attributes, i was going through alot of shit, and to engage magickal warfare, or i out of a need to help with for emotional and family problems. I was seperated from my wife, she had an affair with another man, i was destroyed. I used all that emotion and conjured out from his chaotic persona, only using the question how about a magick trick, as ground and center. I had to lose all personal identity in this emotional conjurement. The man she had the affair with had spent close to all the month of december 2010 in the hospital with swine flu and pneumonia. At one point after grounding and centering with text message her brakes fell to the floor of her van, while she was driving. i had this disturbing entity in my home while we were seperatedthat was pushing her around, i was pissed and so was he. He ran amuck turning off mights approaching her in the mirror scaring her. Theres alot but thats is so me.

The Joker has always been my favorite comic book character. I took a huge nod from him as a child, and tended to find depraved ways of teaching people lessons about themselves.

Now, I'm miserably and self-righteously bound to morality (it actually is as pathetic as it sounds), and so could never invoke him again, but man, do I miss that guy.

There's a particular comic I've forgotten the title of in which one of the psychiatrists at Arkham Asylum describes the Joker as not merely insane, but actually super sane, able to change himself and his world view instantly, from moment to moment, in order to cope with a very insane world. That doctor eventually becomes one of Joker's followers, as Harley Quinn did.

So, I agree with the general flow of this thread, that the Joker can teach us much about chaos magic, and that there is intent in his depravity. Also, not everything that the Joker did was violent or horrifying, especially in earlier comics. There are some moments of minute heroism under his belt, as well. =]

To understand the cosmic joke, laugh, and go on with life, with the purpose of enjoying every moment, every experience, and go after such with a zest and zeal that can only appear insane to conservative mindsets, that is the essence of taking on the role of Joker. Why are we not all the joker, the fool, if we are in fact the magus? If you do not actively engage life, why challenge reality at all? We are one and always zero shed the image and hail the new flesh, infinity starts now, yesterday is a lost illusion and tomorrow never happens.

After watching the Dark Knight again, and thinking carefully about it, maybe this invocation is exactly what I need. XD

Joker is clearly on a mission, to take down the veil. =]
