Well, I would suspect that you had some sort of need to reconcile with your ex., either on a healing level or on an emotional level. Such desires or needs can often trigger powerful effects; even to the point of evocation/invocation.
The will and the desire are two powerful tools, both used in ceremony to summon or call forth enteties, but not all of us need ceremonies.

Ok, here is one that boggles me. Also, it is somewhat ongoing.
It was dark and I am walking through a residential neighborhood when I noticed a very high quality telescope set up on the sidewalk for sky observation. I look up at the house and suddenly I am inside. I am greeted by a mid forties black woman with a extreme southern lean to her. The house its self is southern style. She points to a cooler then opens it to display several bottles of vodka of which she offers a drink, although I don't really drink. From upstairs a young 11 or 12sh yr old white girl with eyes that looked older than Saturn watches very curiously from the stairs then I woke..

Two or some nights ago (quite recently);
I had an ackward dream...I was "glitching" between two settings. A field, overcast, with an abandoned railroad, than a movie theatre. Back and forth. The field was some away from a town no one in it. I would be walking along the road scared. A feeling of someone watching me. As if it were to kill me. Than I'd end up in the theatre. Two people lie at my feet, can't tell if alive or dead. Same feeling of the violent stalker, a presence. I've had two other, much more horrendous, dreams.

This is a dream I had maybe a week or two ago... and now I'm not sure if it was one of those intuitional messages or just a plain mind's childplay:
... a funny thing happened to me last week... awakening from sleep, i recalled a profound dream I had... I was exploring a gallery of paintings... I then came across a painting which depicted wind-sprites flowing to the North, which i found too fluffy.
Then a something happened.. the sprites became a dragon, a Dragonne to be exact, moving and alive... I had a great feeling of elation, proving to myself that Spare's paintings are indeed magical... Then the Dragonne with the head of a lion and body of a Bronze Dragon flew out of the painting and into my right arm's lower portion, and imbedded itself in there... it became a tattoo. It told me that She would only be the first of my Familiars, tattooed on my body... magical art coming to magical life...
... and then there was N?, who gave me a Book of Thoth (or was it Understanding Aleister Crowley's Thoth deck?) as a gift.

I always had a rather strange connection with Orobas too.
His name stuck out when i was doing some research
I looked up everything at all possible about this particular demon.
It was borderline obsession at some point.
Never evoke/invoked him though.

Strange that I come across this post today, last night I myself had a dream in which Orobas's name was repeated over and over in the background no matter what was going on. I woke myself up from the dream and after getting a drink laid back in bed and decided to meditate on Orobas before going back to sleep. Keeping in mind that the house was freezing when I woke up from someone leaving the air on all night, the moment I started concentrating on him the room got blazing hot, and I could feel him hanging over me, he told me several things (none of which I can sadly remember due to me being half awake) and then I had a dream following where a certain situation I've been having difficulty with was solved.
Apparently he's a very helpful demon spirit.

I have something about dreams... Okâ?¦ I remember that something about six mouths later I have a dream where I am to attack a Prelate or Pope, something like that, and this person stands in a circle of protection. In the dream I decide to call for an entity to help me broke that protection and guest whatâ?¦ A manlike horse came from the door and sits and begin to talk about this bishop/prelate, then I aks: â??You could help me?â?Â

can someone help me with this doozie? I will give my interpretation... my dream forshadowed itself like it was planned.. Let me tell...
I was walking down the street and I saw kids playing in the sewers.... one of them had their head sticking out with the manhole cover on top of it like a cartoon... but anyways later on in the dream I am being chased around by a 15 foot monkey thing... I was running into bedrooms hoping that it couldn't get through the doorway but it could.. so its chasing me from house to house down the street and the feeling I have is like there is no way to get away from the monkey... its more like a gorilla but whatever... My feeling is a kind of despair because I know the monkey can get into doorways and it will be able to get my no matter where I go.... then I see the kids again "playing" in the sewer and I realize that that is the way to escape the monkey...
Being occult minded my interpretation is that, as I have heard in teh past, kids represent the Masters or the enlightened... The monkey is my lower nature that will be able to find me anywhere in "The World" (or while I am worldly minded) and the kids were showing me that the way to escape is to become lowly or "poor in spirit" represented by the sewers... this seems like the right answer because all of the symbols fit so well... sounds about right eh? let me know if anyone thinks of a different type of interpretation cause I really don't know anything about the subject...
Jim
P.S. The reason why this dream even made me think to try and figure it out in the first place was because as soon as I woke up I realized that I had seen the kids playing in the sewers even before the monkey part began... which made me think that the dream was like a planned story and not just a bunch of random mucky events going from one to the next... it could have been planned out before by my unconscious mind but I like to think that it was planned by some sort of guide.. even if its just a guiding principle within my own unconscious... cause all I could think about upon waking was that it as weird that I saw the kids before the monkey thing began and that they ended up being the solution... it was trippy

I had a dream a dream I was laying on a bed in this old liqour store in a town nearby. There was this huge yellow tree, it wasn't a fur tree or pine that we have common around here but a more exotic, very beautiful flower tree with yellow buds off in the distant view. Then all of a sudden I saw this huge yellow owl fly towards the store and look at me and fly away ... Not sure what this ment but it was kinda refreshing...

Owls represent death and misfortune, my guess is the yellow color and beauty represents Tiphareth and so the dream is a representation of beauty and fortune entering your life - liquor represents decadence born out of decay so is quite auspicious really. That the owl looked at you and fly away could be seen as most fortunate - you won't need the wisdom of a cat eagle at the moment.TheWanderer;281861 wrote:I had a dream a dream I was laying on a bed in this old liqour store in a town nearby. The ape of Thoth may be appropriate to study, in this instance.
I do not feel this dream is as readily auspicious as others, rather it serves as a warning, though it does not seem as dire as others I have been noticing from recent nights amongst fellow occultists.
I would equate the sewers with the realm of the dead, not with the earth. The monkey...is it a monkey or an ape? If it is a monkey it could be a representative of Hanuman, and thus, most auspicious. An ape could represent intellect of humanity, as you noted....one has a difficult time escaping inherent human nature.HaZe;281844 wrote:can someone help me with this doozie? That's cool.. that what I was looking for... that kind of interpretation... where did you learn that all the symbols of dreams are tied to occult symbols?

Well the occult is the hidden, that is what the word means, and dreams show us our hidden self...glad it was useful to you.
But now I have had a dream last night. I was in a plush Hollywood club lounging around in a dark lit room with black and brown decor, leather couches, very plush and masculine, I could smell tobacco. I was having a drink with Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis, we were just hanging out. I like these actors - I just don't find them sexually attractive, but they are *good* actors - respect.
So I am sitting there just listening to them talk and I'm like "why am I here?"
I remember I was wearing one of my black evening gowns. I was also smoking - I never smoke.
I don't know. I didn't really want to be there, it felt like I was in somebody elses's body and I wasn't even talking about anything important, just chilling out.

I had an intersting dream the other week which I might share because it was pretty cool.. I've typed it out before though so I might cheat like that because I'm lazy. Anyway..
I dreamt last night that I was outside at my old house and it was all flooded about ankle deep. There was a little tiny shark that was living in the laundry. It was only about a foot in size so it was like a miniture great white or something. Anyway I was standing to do something and not caring too much about the little shark(he was like a pet)but at the same time I was making sure he didnt come behind me and bite my achilles. I knew that was the only place he would really hurt me and he seemed to know it and was sneaky like that. Anyway so he tried to bite me and I picked him up out of the water and stroked his belly I think, but he didnt look too friendly. lol. He was trying to bite me with his teeth going crazy which I just thought was kinda cute. So I put him back in the water but I dont remember much more of the dream.
So yeah.. a little sneaky shark going for my achilles. But in the end I knew the shark was doomed because it didnt have the space to live and the water was too shallow. Like it was just a slightly flooded laundry after all.
It was one of my last weird dreams.. and it was really strange when I picked up the baby great white because I wasnt afraid of it at all(and I dont usually pick up creatures).. and to rub its belly was just weird. It didnt like it much. lol.. it was like I rubbed its belly while treating it all cute and that... which just pissed it off. lol. It was funny because the 'great white' was small enough for me to pick up out of the water and hold up to study(with one hand). lol... great white indeed. And thats how the dream kinda felt.
It was interesting and different to my other shark dreams. I felt like I owned the shark..
But what does it mean to rub its belly?(just that I own it?).. That was the weird part in the dream.. like I dont usually rub anythings belly... so to dream of rubbing a miniture great whites belly was just bizarre. At least it was a turn around though because usually I'm the one in the water.

Well, clean garments represent truth... at least in the bible... white garments (according to swedenborg)... the shark knows your weak spot... but you seem to have it under your command.. There are some sharks that when rubbed on the belly and turned upside down become hypnotized.. like one of the animal hypnotism things... now the interaction of all of these suggestions of mine is up to you... cause I don't understand whether the clothes were in the water that was going up to your ankles...
ohhh.. the shark lives in the laundry.. so it lives among truths... perhaps you have recently discarded a philosophy or something that you had previously thought was a truth... or at least you have been less affected by it so it is under your control.. but it shows up every now and then cause it is a weak spot for you (teasing you with the achille heel thing)... now you have to get rid of the shark for good... let go of that concept that you have recently discarded as untrue... maybe... lol just a mental suggestion exercise.. its really up to you what it all means

Hmm thanks(ponder ponder).
I didnt really consider the clothes as a symbol so much.. like I know they are but I didnt give it much thought. But yeah the clothes were in the dryer.. it was like I was swapping the clothes from the washing machine to the dryer, and I could see the clothes inside the dyrer spinning around. So I was just doing the washing in a flooded laundry which allowed the shark to be there(It was trapped though like a little pet.. there was some pine wood blocking it from swimming out from the laundry). But it was raining too... so it was like the flooding was because of the rain, and the shark just seemed to be able to be there now because it was like I was standing in ocean water. So the rain was making the ocean water come in but I was up at my old house which is in the hills.
Anyway... I like what you wrote about clothes because I didnt really think much about that, and everything was quite orderly.. even though the dream environment wasnt as much. So I wasnt stressed out.. just doing the washing while it was raining etc.
And I guess I might of discarded a truth or something around that time.. I'm not sure.. nothing major though that I can think of. That hypnotism info was interesting.. thanks! I might suss that out alittle more because when I rubbed its belly it was like I did it for a set reason but withouth knowning exactly why.. like a habit or something but for a reason which I didnt understand later. But I do think it was to settle the shark in someways but its teeth were going crazy when I was doing it. It made me lol and think I better not get my fingers near it either. So it was more funny than scary or anything hey. It was cute. So I rubbed its belly almost like you would a dog or something but I rubbed it really fast with just one finger in a funny way which made me think when I woke up it was weird.
Can I ask also.. what do different sharks symbolise does anyone know? Writing this today just gave me a quick dream flashback from last night, which I wouldve forgotten. Anyway I dreamt last night I was watching a brown hammerhead shark, which was somewhere but I cant remember where.. I just remember looking at it and knowing it was a hammerhead shark. I think it was under a grate or something or caged up because I saw it through a catwalk or something.. like I was walking above it and it was very close like in a.. shark park. What is it with sharks. lol

There are some sharks that when rubbed on the belly and turned upside down become hypnotized.. like one of the animal hypnotism things... now the interaction of all of these suggestions of mine is up to you... cause I don't understand whether the clothes were in the water that was going up to your ankles...ohhh.. the shark lives in the laundry.. so it lives among truths... perhaps you have recently discarded a philosophy or something that you had previously thought was a truth... or at least you have been less affected by it so it is under your control.. but it shows up every now and then cause it is a weak spot for you (teasing you with the achille heel thing)... now you have to get rid of the shark for good... let go of that concept that you have recently discarded as untrue... maybe... lol just a mental suggestion exercise.. its really up to you what it all means
I think it was under a grate or something or caged up because I saw it through a catwalk or something.. like I was walking above it and it was very close like in a.. shark park. What is it with sharks. lol

Were you proud of holding the shark at your command... or being able to manipulate it despite the fact that it was vicious? meh... I am honestly a firm believer that only the person who has the dream will ever be able to interpret it...

I know that hammerheads have the unusual ability to fertilize their own eggs! They also have an internal fertilization process unlike most other sharks that provides a safe enviroment for the sperm and egg to unite.
I learned this on Wikipedia.
I think you are one of the shark gods incarnated and it was one of your filthy little brats giving you lip!Kazahel;284162 wrote:Hmm thanks(ponder ponder).

Yes I was proud I guess.. it was very much like I pwned it, and I kept it because it was a great white. It was a pet and I just didnt want it to bite me(I thought it cute when it tried and typical of a shark), so I just picked it up and rubbed its belly. (lol wtf). Like who the hell rubs the belly of a shark.
Anyway I agree that the dreamer is the best person to interpret it, but I didnt know about the hypnotism thing or give the clothes as much though as I probably shouldve. So to be given reminders of.. symbols can be helpful to the dreamer I guess.

I love sharks. I want to cuddle them and have sex with them. So you are not alone in this.
I mean you probably don't want to have sex with them. But GOD I LOVE SHARKS>
