well on the forums before that incident, i made this topic and it proved to be quite popular so im going to ressurect it.

and with all the new people i know it will give me great new insight and fun.

well what d you associate with each element. and this doesnt mean the standard elements of fire earth water and air, it can include any eg. void, ka, metal, frest etc

and with what you associate, it can be anything from images emotions, items and much much more.

this topic helped me understand the people of occult forums and their magickal workings and i hope it will do the same now.

That's just a few of the main ones and not 'set in stone' exactly - just how I'm seeing things at the moment.

I think I'll go traditional for this one. I don't know if this is what you wanted dragool, but...

Earth: Stabilty, fertility, hardness, riggedness, the loving mother. Earth is the raw substance that is manipulated by the other elements. It is eroded by Air and Water, and melted and burned by fire as the metals and plants that come from the Earth are part of the Earth element. Earth is the fertile soil and the dirt of our graves. It drinks the blood that is offered to it. Blood spilled in battle and libation are both graciously and rightfully accepted by our Mother Erda.

Air: Incorporiality, the mind, chaos, cruelty, movement, the wayward father. Air is the life-giving but cruel sun. It is the moon that manipultes the tides and causes insanity in man and beast. It is the comforting breeze and the biting cold winds that slowly snuff out life in oblivial pain. It is the oxygen we breathe and acrid smoke.

Water: Mutablity, mystery, life and death, emotions. Water is the basis of life on this planet, but man cannot live in water because he will drown. Water is the rivers of Hel.
Things that are lost in the sea are likely to be lost forever and the sea hides many things. Water is the element that can take on the properties of all the other elements. It mimicks Earth in the form of ice, it mimicks Air in the form of mist, it mimicks the dynamic destruction of Fire in the form of tidal waves. Water is blood. It is a female element.

Fire: Dynamic change, heat, fear, destruction/creation. Fire is the element that causes destruction to make room for new creation. It can be malevoent or benefical, but it is always feared. Fire is a male element.

I recognize no other elements. The four are perfect. I revere the Cross Of Odin over the Pentegram.
I'm not saying everybody else is wrong or anything. To each his own.

Earth: solids, stability, sensual/substantial, drums, blunt weapons (club), pentacles, unicorns
Water: liquid, receptiveness, emotional, bells, piercing weapons (arrow), chalices, dragons
Air: gaseous, flexibility, intellectual, flutes, slicing weapons (sword), swords, griffons
Fire: combustions, energetic, spiritual, strings, energy weapons (lasers), wands, phoenixes

Growth: lifeforms, production of life, generating and renewing, cancers, productivity/prosperity

That was really hard to write. XD It's really hard to try to explain an elemental system like this without overthinking.

[EDIT] I changed my mind about how Healing and Psychic worked. Instead of being more or another of one element, it has more to do with directionality. I also added more adjectives/attributes to some of the elements.
