Why would ANYONE make a section called "Troll Pit", and what, in the name of all that's sacred and profane, would you use it for? ~L~

Unless it's kind of a 'get even' board...lol. Or talk about suspected trolls??:/:P

I'm not 100% sure why I made it haha,

I'd thought perhaps we would move troll posts here, or use it to discuss members who are trolling the board, but I don't think either is particularly required.

I may simply delete it. Will have a think about it

One thing I have seen used in many forums witch have been rather effective is to move debates witch get heated into a bitching pit. Not that there are no rules in such a place, but a bit more heat is tolerated than elsewhere on the forum, the problem with that is that many pepole have a problem with keeping an argument confined to one tread and will continue to feel insulted and feel negative towards the other poster in the regular trads to, so such a forum is not always a benefit. You could off course use this section as a place to store troll post so they will always be there for our amusement and scorn?

I would like to think it as a good spirited ribbing/trolling board. Participate if you wish, but be ready and willing to understand once you enter the pool, the water can get deep. Also nothing should be taken outside of the troll pit. Leave the rage and fury in the troll pit.

Leaving the rage and fury in the troll pit seams nice on paper but do you think it will really work that way, that pepole can argue so the keyboards smoke in one tread and be friendly with one another in another. I agree that that is the way it should be, but do you think it will work like that?

I'll say no for one reason: Not everyone is mature enough to handle a little light jab here or there. Sometimes they get really offended instead of having some skin and laughing about the silliness of trolling. I'd say if I knew everyone could handle it [instead of say, someone reading the rule of "If you can take it then come in and dish it too" and then they go in and get hurt over a comment and seek vengeance forever like Batman] then it'd be all cool.


In short, probably not.

Well, regardless of the outcome... We can at least agree it will be fun to watch, and possibly a pain to clean up... like all things good in life.

Oh there are whips in Norway, a small selection of them is in my bedroom. The problem is more that I do not think Vashta is in Norway to borrow them.

Hello..did someone say WHIPS??=D I heard the words naughty which caught my attention..then troll pit...hmmm thought it was a bar-b-que.. can we eat the trolls when were done grilling them?

Personally I think it's a fun idea. Throw in a few nymphs a couple of cases of Guinness and wa-la Troll Party. What else you gonna do in a troll pit???
