So, this morning we've added a beta testing section to the site.

We're planning to use this to test out new system components, and get your feedback on them.

This morning, we put a horoscope component in there. The horoscopes it provides are generated from http://www.Astrology.com

So, would you like us to keep this, get rid of it, or something else altogether?

I like this.I am interested in Astrology and would like to discuss Astrological matters here.My current fascination is with Pluto going retrograde and the soon to come Jupiter/Chiron/Neptune alignment.Will there be a folder for Astrology or does this fit into one of the existing sections?

I suppose that would be under "Divination"?

We can always make a folder for it if it's needed.

Yeah,sorry about that.Tired and spacey last night.I didn't see the Divination folder on the index.It was a 'duh' moment.I use Astrology but more for psychological development and Magickal purpose than for it's predictive aspects,so don't always make the mental connection Astrology = subset of Divination.
I might post a topic about Pluto retrograde there when I've had some coffee.Note to self: don't post in future until alertness is fully functional.Lol.

Coincidentally I was just discussing the topic on another site, and how the astrological element to spell casting can hobble the practitioner into waiting until "The Stars are Right". I can't wait to see your spin on it!

I'm not really into astrology except when other people make me be, trying to figure me out by my sign, etc. No offense to anyone who practices it, of course.

As long as it doesn't disrupt my posting on this forum and stays out of my way, it doesn't matter to me whether the feature says or goes.

So true.But I believe the stars are always 'right'-it's us who get out of kilter.Lol. So it's how you work it that matters,more than when.Planetary aspects can be most helpful though for extra juice,the Pluto Rx coming up is a good one.Rx Planets give us the chance to 'do over', to go back and fix what we've left undone or unresolved.The signs and houses they go retro from and move back into, can show where this effort will be most effective.Pluto is going from Capricorn into Sagittarius and back again.

I find it interesting that the planet of Transformation,Regeneration and Upheaval is now so prominently aspected in the sky,given the current World climate,politically and economically.Pluto brings our worst and darkest fears surging to the surface,it's lesson here is in confrontation and realisation,renewal and rebirth.Along dark teatime of the soul,only resolved by inner fortitude and courage,if you will.

I'll shut up now and save the rest for the topic I must now write. I'll come at it with a fresh brain tomorrow,as I'm tired and work frazzled right now,so it's best not to attempt too much tonight.

I am a big fan of Fr.Choronzon's work.

It might be a nice feature, but for me I do not really care this way or that on this one, but if it can be made to work, sure have it on the forum.

why cant there be a cusp horriscope.

A designated board for discourse of Astrological matters would be invaluable. Even if you could not institute that horoscope calculator (or some apparatus to that effect) a section for discussions alone would, I think, suffice. Those sufficiently interested to explore their own Nativities could easily be directed to astro.com to create an account and their own nativity thereby.
