Here is a little spell that my friend taught me in college. Now, this simple, fun little trick is mostly good for the smaller, physical desires that you may want, but I bet if you tweak my version you might be able to achieve bigger things. The key here is small stuff though for now. Now before I begin, I really don't want to start a debate about this spell. It DOES deal with the psyche, but that doesn't mean that it isn't magic. It's best to see it as a spell, or it just plain doesn't work as well. Psyche trick? Maybe. But that isn't the point here.

When you write this down, put it on a loose leaf piece of paper. You can even just tear the paper in half and write more of them if you want. When my friend first taught me this we were writing them non-stop simply because some of them were hilarious. Do have fun with this, adding joy into it will just charge it better with your emotional energy. When you're finished writing the letter, fold it into a paper airplane and fly it away into a recycling bin and IMMEDIATELY forget about it. Don't let yourself remember what you wrote at all. It's gone.

Hey! How are you? It's been a while since I've spoken to you. So far everything we've done together has been successful and full of awesome. But hey, I wanted to ask you a favor. You know how we've been missing that middle box set, The Black Rose Saga for Revolutionary Girl Utena? Well I've been looking for it for a while and the trouble is I have forgotten where it is. Luckily you happen to know where I can find it for a good price and Hell, even for free. There are some people out there that you know of who have that set and don't want it anymore, but it's in great condition. I don't know where these people are, but you do! You even know how to get them to contact me if I can't find them by the end of May, perhaps June. So if you'll do me a favor and remind me where these great places are to get this kickass anime, or tell me where and who these people are who have it?

You want to have it so that your subconsciousness knows absolutely everything. Because it does. It works the best that way. Now, fold the paper up and fly it away into a recycling bin. Or in my case, post it on a forum and forget that it's there.

That sounds goofy and ridiculous, but as the saying goes, "Whatever works."

I'd be willing to try it out myself if you were to give an example of a success you've had with it, simply so that it is in some way proven to be an effective method.

Certainly! I apologize for taking as long as I did to reply. Life got caught up with me.

One of the examples that comes off the top of my head was last fall when I was still in college. At the beginning of the semester my paints had been stolen. $300 worth of oil paints. Frustrated and pressed for time since I was supposed to work on my show, I wrote a letter to my subconscious mind telling it that someone had a set of good-quality paints that they didn't want anymore and wanted to give to me. About a week or so later one of my old professors mentioned that they had a box of acrylic paints by Golden, which is a very good company. They were used, but she didn't use them anymore and offered to give them to me.

There were a few incidents where my things were stolen from my studio (some people really didn't like the fact that I did artwork pertaining to magic so I got harrassed a lot.) One of these things was a case of CDs, so I wrote a letter to my subconscious mind telling it that it knew where it was and how to find it. This one took a lot longer to manifest, but my friend looked into her locker and saw that a blue strap was sticking down from a crack from the above locker that looked like my CD case. The locker also had all of my stolen oil paints and a few of my friend's items as well. We told the professor and he broke open the lock. Unfortunately we never found the thief, but at least we got our stuff back.

I write them for little petty things usually, that's what they're best at. The friend who taught me managed to get new shoes and lots of clothes since he was actually homeless at the time. So he used it a lot to get what he needed in order to survive.

sarosong - thank you SO SO SO much for sharing your fun letter method! I actually discovered your post a few weeks ago, but decided to register on the forum to report that it WORKS!!

For those who haven't tried it, you need to! It worked on a big issue that was really stressing me out and that I felt was out of my control. I ended up writing a 3 page letter about what my ideal outcome was and how I wanted a win-win solution for everyone involved.

I then threw away and forgot about it. 3 weeks later, I got a confirmation from someone that what I had asked for ALL CAME TRUE!!!

I totally agree with you that our subconscious knows everything. I had my doubts, but it was so much fun writing the letter that I didn't care if it worked or not (though I secretly hoped it did). I felt really good afterwards.

I'm going to be trying it on a lot more things that I can be detached about. I'm sure what I asked for actually happened sooner than 3 weeks, but it was only 3 weeks later that I received verbal confirmation that it was done.
