How do you stay aware during rebirth, that is not forget who you are?

2:
How do you return to the same country , like a Buddhist monk to Tibet at rebirth?

(1) You can remain aware of your identity during rebirth only if you are fairly advanced.
(2) Your strong predisposition will make you return to the same country.

I have heard the interpretation that in ancient times it was more usual for people to reincarnate back to their original lands. I don't know if this is true, but I think that because people lifetime after lifetime are meeting others all around the world and travelling outside their lands, humanity are really becoming worldly souls.

If the soul really wants to reincarnate back to their past country, then they will. How? Choice will play a part as will what is in the soul's best interest.
I take the cupid as a soul becoming ready to be born that hangs around the potential and chosen mother, which will cause an attraction around her.

I am lucky to have a good episodic memory. And as a child, I could've sworn I had memories of visions of seeing my mother before I was born.

I think there are various ways people can recall past life identities after reincarnation. But just because a person may not be able to do this very clearly during their life is not to say that memories won't return back to them.

Mark, you ask some very good questions. I'll try to give you my beliefs in as quick and concise a mannor.
I read once that the begining to understanding is the ability to say "I don't know" It really frees you up to any answer as opposed to what you want to hear.

I believe that the Monks of Tibet can return to the next Lama because they are one with what is around them, and when that is the Hymalayan Mountians, that's no small potatoes. They love and live off these mountians. Everyone in the world, when asked what is the biggest mountian.... anyone? That's where Lhasa, Tibet is. I believe the Mountians help them.

Mark, please take this with a grain of salt... like I said, I don't know. It could be blood, it could be any of the elements or something I don't know about yet. I believe it is the mountians. They are important, they are beautiful and they will be there for a very long time.
