Help needed: Recurring Dreams/Nightmares...

Ok, I got a buddy who's convinced that the dead visit him during his dreams. See he and his family nearly died in a fire when he was little. He says that there are certain places inside the dream/nightmares that he wishes to go to, but is afraid of what he might find. Not sure if this is a common thing or not. He was hoping to find either rules he should follow, or just past similar experiences. He's reluctant to tell very many people for fear of being labled crazy or the like. Can you help him? If so please send valid info to email attached. thank you.

No sarcasm intended but,,, this is a magic forum. It would be pressing to not find posts that "normal" folk wouldn't find out there. I sincerely doubt any posters here would think your friend is some kind of nut. He however may think a few of us here are nuts though. [happy]
I've had a knack for interpreting dreams for over 40 years now and it isn't that hard to do. Dreams can be forewarnings of events or to get a message to someone to relive a burden of some sort. There shouldn't be a reason for someone to need to venture to that side unless they just want to. Much easier I would think to call someone from the other side to you.
It's hard to know what to offer as a suggestion with the scant info provided so I for one would need to know, are these dreams a different dream each time or are they near identical each time. Different dreams each time could mean the dreamer has problems that need working through,,, unless the dreams all have the same message being sent but have different "actors". Recurring dreams that seldom vary much are very important to pay attention to because something important is trying to be relayed to the dreamer.
Clicking on someones nickname here will take you to another page where you can send and receive private messages to someone. I wouldn't put up an email address that's viewable in an open forum. Bots will pick it up and flood your inbox with tons of spam.

My Buddy writing-
my dreams arent the same everythime but take place in the same place or sometimes diffrent places i have never been to. there are people i have never seen and sometimes people i have known that talk to me. There are lots of voices that try to talk to me but i cant always make them out due to so many trying to talk or answer a question i have asked. These people arent always nice and do try to hurt me in various ways their strikes dont hit me but you can feel their animosity and the pressure behind their strikes. if i try to touch them i get flashes of memories or thoughts that arent my own and can feel a rush of mixed emotions. this has progressively gotten worse from childhood to now at the age of 24 it has gotten so bad the dreams get more and more real everytime the only thing that has kept it from going further i think so far is me not going out into where i am asked. What is this and what can i do please help!

I quoted you so I wouldn't have to keep scrolling back and forth. The dream is definitely recurring and it's changing because you aren't getting the message. If you can, when the dram reoccurs tell them "one at a time" so you can get the message. If they persist in talking all at once, tell them you're going to ignore them until they speak one at a time. Controlling a dream isn't an easy thing to do. It will help if you'll have "the plan" stuck in your head all day long before going to sleep. They aren't 'nice' at times because they're frustrated that you aren't "getting it", whatever it is.
Take this with a grain of salt, but I'm picking up you have latent abilities to converse in some fashion with the other side but have buried them somehow. That's why the memories aren't yours yet you can pick the memories up. It would also explain the numerous entities "ganging up" on you and are frustrated by not getting through to you. If in fact this is the case, those on the other side will seek out folks like you and try and force you to get their message to whomever. You will have to learn to lay down some laws for them by letting them know, they come when you call for them and don't intrude on your own me time".
As I said, take this with a grain of salt. It's hard for me to interpret when I'm not face to face but it "feels" right at this point in time based solely on what you have told me. There may be more you are unintentionally leaving out that I need to know. Still, don't discount what I've stated. Think deep and hard about what I stated and see if it feels right to you. If so, pursue it and work it out with yourself. You don't seem to be in any danger, just hounded to the point you're having troubles sleeping and it obviously has carried over into your waking hours.
In the event my interpretation is correct, these entities are around you now so it is possible to lay down the ground rules now. Tell them you got it and you'll learn how to speak with them at YOUR discretion, not theirs. If they don't want to follow the rules, they can leave. Don't let them control you, you control them and you can do it. You aren't powerless. To the contrary, you hold ALL the power.
One word of caution. ALWAYS protect yourself. The world is built on balances. If there isn't evil, there can be no good. There are those on the other side that wish to be nuisances and cause problems. Protect yourself, your belongings and those who come in contact with you. What works for you as protection I can't say. Only you can. For me I use a dagger to draw myself into a kind of hamster ball and mentally say this ball only allows positive influence to enter into it. It's a hamster ball, it goes where I go. If it feels right to you, you can use something similar and say something similar. I wouldn't do this one time and one time only. I do it each morning and each evening before retiring.
Our abilities are already there in all of us. We simply have to learn how to use them in a way that we understand.
I'm not going anywhere. I'm not laffing nor ridiculing you. I'm offering what little help I can give freely and will keep an eye on this thread for future queries from you.

Thank you very much these are the answers that i couldnt get from others without laughs or discrimination. There is more to tell you and would love to tell all that you wish to know. I for one would like to see how far the rabbit hole goes. I have kinda tried to suppress my dreams and or visions for a long time since i was a kid and they have only gotten worse so i will take heed to what you suggest and lay some rules down its just a very hard thing to get them to stop talking and listen and hard to listen to them or make them out clearly. I can send you my email if you wish it to answer any questions you may have to help me more efficiently with the knowledge you seek to help.I have never been too great at these kinds of things just easier to ignore it and move on. So by all means maybe we should set up a live chat session together so that we may tackle this head on and you could communicate with me on the best way possible to deal with this.
Thank you

Check you PM box. Never post personal info on the net such as your email addy. Bots will find it and flood you with ads wanting you to buy Viagra out the yin yang. I'm not at the stage of needing it,,,, yet,,,,,,,, so I for one can do without the spam. I have a headset for the chat. It helps to at least hear a voice if I can't see a face.

I can add to the dream problem as well. Many people have the ability to access a second set of senses when their conscíous mind is asleep. These are the people that see dreams of where you can find a certain person, the plans for a certain project etc. However some people can open themselves as a ´´channel´´ to outside entities while they are asleep. While this is not necessarily bad,it isn´t always good either.Look at these situations as if you´re playing Russian Roullete, but your opponent doesn´t care if it loses. If you happen to see the same images of people and/or entities in your dreams,I would suggest frankincense and maybe a bit of mint placed around your room. But these are just to help you focus.Just imagine a locked door and a line of people/beings/things etc that want to pass into it.Only allow those in that you know you can trust.

i am back have been doing my finals with school ill tell you though that the dreams dont make it easy. I have been practicing channeling my chi and taking control of the dream state its self its going ok i have gained a bit of control over the voices and can channel a protective aura around myself in the dream state if i feel like i may be harmed or feel threatened it takes alot out of me and when i wake up after a dream when i have felt threatened and protect myself with my chi i guess thats what i use i just channel my inner energy to do it. but i wake up feeling like i have no energy and im exausted all day is there anything i can do bout that?

You can fill yourself with energy before you get ready for bed and again in the morning when you awaken.
There are several ways to do it and I use two.
One way that works for me is to get comfortable, go into a meditative state and "see" energy as a white light entering the top of my head and flowing all the way to my feet. When I feel warm all the way to my feet, I've taken in as much energy as I can hold.
The second way is to "feel" positive energy entering into me when I inhale and negative energy leaving when I exhale.
A third way that I should use but keep forgetting to do it is to "charge" my food and drink to energize me when I consume it. It does work but I typically have so much on my mind I forget about it.
Since you're still being plagued,,, have you tried working with your Higher Self to help guard you while you sleep?
There is another thread here speaking about the Higher Self. To save you some time however, your Higher Self [imho] is your subconscious mind which connects to "the other side" so to speak.
To contact and converse with it, go into a meditative state and imagine what your Higher Self would look like and speak to Him/Her as if S/He were your best friend. Ask Him/Her if they can help you with your problem. He/She should have some positive input for you and quite possibly take care of the problem for you. After all, He/She does have a vested interest in your well being.
