72 virgins. demons, and angels.

Not sure if this goes here, but anyway.
I got to thinking metaphorically about how the 72 demons of the goetia and the 72 angels are compliments to each other. The demons being magnetic, the angels electric. I then pondered on the concept of 72 virgins in paradise as concerns the religion of islam. In islam one acquires the virgins when one fights the jihad, and martyrs themselves in jihad. From Sufi standpoint, similar to Gnosticism, one must look metaphorically at the concepts rather than literal.
Could not the 72 virgins be the the 72 demons and angels alchemically combined within the human psyche? In several places Christ states that man can become or is God. I am reminded of Abraham speaking to the burning bush and the great occultic phrase I AM I AM henceforth being uttered. The word "virgin" means "uninitiated".
Could the battlefield simply be that of teh mind? Could the unbelievers simply be negative or delusional thoughts?
I feel like I'm on the precipice of a cliff, waiting for the fog to lift. Once it does I'll have a spectacular view.
Thougyhts, and opnions welcome! [smile]
