how long?

Once a spell has been cast and everything is set approx how long does it take for the desired effect to take place? Hours? Days? Or weeks? Is it different for every spell caster?
It depends on both the caster and the spell itself.
When did you work the spell,is moon phase significant..? And so on...
It can vary greatly between systems and paradigms and it's up to the caster to signify time specifics basically,at the time of casting.
