I've just found out about the existence of created beings called Servitors.

Can servitors do physical tasks? For example, pick up objects and carry them to you?

I haven't found any direct mention of them doing physical tasks.

Theoretically. A servitor is essentially a custom-made spirit, so if a natural spirit can do it, a servitor can be taught.

While I don't see any problem with the idea of it, theoretically, my understanding is that a servitor will only have the capabilities given to it by the one who creates it. So if you aren't capable of, in this case moving the object in question psychokinetically, then any servitor you created wouldn't be able to do so either.

As a tool, I believe this is designed to work mainly on the lower Astral Plane. Exactly how far the perimeters can be moved beyond that core I don't know. For the 'average user' it might be best to stick to this main focus initially.

It would be like programming any other action parameter.

In theory - yes. But I've never seen or heard of it happening in real life.

Servitors require energy to perform actions of any kind, the amount of energy being relative to the difficulty of the tasks you want it to perform. Using a servitor to pick up something and bring it to you, while in theory completely possible, would probably leave you unconcious.

Oh, and what Rin said too - Servitors tend to be little one shot things that are programmed to perform an action or go through a series of basic commands. They can't do much because theyre not designed to do much - if youre wanting a servant-type spirit you may want to look at something a bit bigger that has a longer life expectancy and more intelligence.
