Hey guys,
I recently wrote an article on my blog about channeling pain with energy workings.

I'm a chronic pain patient, so i have plenty of it to mess about with. I'll give your technique a go next time i have a bad patch (which will probably be quite soon) and let you know how it goes. I have my own techniques for dealing with pain, which i may share later if i can be bothered

I have a lot of experience with various types of healing. You actually described a decent way to 'field medic' yourself in an emergency. I will offer, however, a few suggestions to make this work more efficiently. I will also caution you at using this method too often, as you run a very high risk of expelling your life force/chi/whatever you want to call it when you are expelling energy in this way. Even the most practiced healers can make a mistake and do this, and it can end very badly. So be careful.

The better way to do this depends on your resources. If you are particularly attached to the physical land or natural environment that you are in while doing this, you can tap into the natural (external) chi that exists in that place. Once you form a bond with it, you must then begin moving this energy in a circuit through your body. Begin either at your feet and carry through to your warding hand and back again. Once you have this circuit in place, allow the 'bad' or pain energy to filter into it, and keep at it until you feel better. This will actually go a step further and physically heal you or encourage your body to heal itself, depending on how strong your empathy is or how your connection to healing is.

The second way is to do this using another person as a proxy. You must have an energetic link with them first, and then you can run a similar circuit using internal chi only between yourself and them, to the same results. Be very careful, however, because this method requires that the other person take some part in your pain and to an extreme, in the injury itself. It is, however, quicker and less taxing than using the external chi around you.

I also have a method to add if wanted. It is more of an ritual approach but can also be done quite quickly:

1) Detect the source of your pain.

2) Try to grasp its energetic core.

3) Design a sigil.

4) Get into a state where you normally work during magickal operation, an awareness shift can also be done.

5) Now pull the energy from the pain into this sigill and charge it witht his energy. Drain as much as you can.

6) Destroy the sigil.

That technique helped me a lot when I laid down after my appendix operation.
I also tested banning techniques at the energetical core of the pain, it was also very effective but did not last very long.
I am thinking about specifiying my banning technique or to be more accurate, design a completly new one for that purpose.

Go right ahead. Just please emphasize the warning with mine about pouring your own chi/life force into someone or out of yourself for a quicker heal. It can be very dangerous. Also note: your body's first sign of you running low on life force/chi is a nosebleed.

Hmm, I am not so pleased when a technique including the use of sigil is posted somewhere where no background of sigil work is included or posted too since sigil magick is like kindling a fire work, one who does it without preperation can deal a shitload of damage not only to others but also to himself.
If you have a section for chaos magick or sigil work, I guess it would fit better into that corner.
