I am just taking my first steps in demonolatry / goetia. Anyone here who has experience in this area and would like to share some tips for a beginner?

Especially with regards to the rituals: I've conducted a very simple ritual and I believe with some result but I have many questions about this. In the books the rituals are often described as quite grand and elaborate. The truth is I have to work in the space of my own appartment and can't be public about my activity in this area.

Any advice?

Just a few questions to think about:

Are you already proficient with the pentagram and hexagram banishing rituals?

How will you see and communicate with these entities? It's not like a Hellraiser where something grows up out of the floor composed of matter.

About the Almadel: Have you Invoked the Archangles? Have you Invoked the angelic governor of the Geotic demon you intend to Evoke?

Have you researched the Planetary Hours and phases of the moon during which you Evocation is optimized?

What is your specific purpose and have you selected the appropriate entity?
