Did I summon or invoke something?

I downloaded a pdf called Quick guide to practical Magick. I found it somewhere in the many links to free pdf books somewhere on this forum.
In a nutshell, the pdf reads:

Step 1 Statement of intent, which I made. (In English, though I am Dutch.)
Step 2 Sigilization of the Statement of intent, read it.
Creation of a pictographical Sigil, made it and simplyfied it.
Creation of a mantra Sigil, done it according to the pdf.
Step 3 The entire banishing ritual, done it according to the pdf. Read and said everything I had to.
Step 4 Invoked Set.
Step 5 Gnosis, inhibitory, as far as I called that a state of trance.
Step 6 Closed the rite like the pdf said.

My statement of intent was: "It is my will to gain a lot of money through the mistakes of another." (I did not think about what a lot of money was, or what the other's mistake would be. Technically speaking it could be a cassiere giving me too much money back for my change money at the supermarket. It could also be a tax return and 1000's of euro's.)

So far I have been wondering if i did "something"? I read the entire PDF, did everything it said, but only as an exercise to myself. Considering I did everything a little bit too far, visualization of Set and creating a voice, ringing the bell 9 times, drawing the inverted pentagram, I have doubts.

As long as you keep thinking about it, nothing will happen. Stuff like that usually don't work until you've forgotten about it.

Keep doing what you are doing but do it everyday and ask for something different each day. Sooner or later something will happen. Stay positive.

I'm with Desecrated on this one. Sigils work once they are forgotten about so as long as you're thinking about the goal, nothing will happen. I did lean a trick from someone when it comes to sigils. Whenever you have a goal you need, create a sigil for it right away. Make a pile of sigils, maybe 5-6, and let them just sit there until you can't remember what they are for and then at that point start activating them. Clearly you'll have to have a backup copy somehwere to make sure that it worked, but this little trick brought me some good results

Yeah this is how I like it too.

This little pdf of yours does not give much background information. Such short ctus can be nice if you know what you are doing, but you don't seem to know what you are doing. How about some basic research first in the matter of sigils and visual magick?

This might be of interest for you (and it is a pdf as well, but it is available as book as well):

True, absolutely true. And if therefore nothing bad will happen, that's fine by me.

Thanks for the document.
