Basic goetia question

To keep this short and sweet I'd like to know a little bit more, philosophically, about RHP application of goetia. It's one of those things that doesn't seem at all obvious on the surface considering the content but the more I listen to RHP practitioners talk and say that they like and respect theurgy and goetia equally it occurs to me that there has to be a white light and transcendental application for both.

So out of curiosity, hypothetically considering an RHP practitioner who may even style themselves more as a mystic than a magician in their goals, where does goetia come in to application in their spiritual life an advancement?

Personally , I am not that much of an LHP or RHP guy. But, trying to look at this with the eyes of an RHP guy I would say that its value lies in its clear structure, the ladder you can climb and the 72 entities which each has the potential for a mystician to go much deeper into its nature then the more common "It's just a blunt tool" - view. Besides that, I don't really know what one would get out of it as a RHP goal. Salvation? Unity? Power? But I guess that goes more into LHP.

Yeah, I don't really know that I'm bound up in anything myself. It seems like what I've noticed is that the name of the game, at least for those wanting to 'win the game of life' as the solution set has been shown tend to want to walk the path of return - not to discarnate permenantly but to gain Bodhisattvahood, Magister Templi, or whatever else and be another force out there helping the rest of the world around them lift themselves up by their bootstraps to make Malkuth be a true paradise rather than a battle zone. I still also don't know what the heck ultimate truth is, still weigh it largely by proposed intent, but if it turned out that it's all the same or that God delights in everyone's attempts as It set them to pursue it wouldn't surprise me at all. I suppose if I would have any RHP draw it's mostly pragmatic and long-view, if that's accurately what I'd be as there's still aside of me that believes in balance over Catholic moral purity.

I think that's what I was getting at though - ie. proactive and productive stuff that can be done with goetic summoning or that is commonly done which has little to do with material or revenge-related biddings and if material has more to do with the greater good than anything.

Another thing - it doesn't seem like goetic and elemental are in the same place either but speaking in terms of elemental, there seems to be a lot there. For example, I'm sure any of the undine queens would be excellent PTSD councelors or great for helping anyone who feels like their own energetic radiator is a bit dry on coolant. That balancing game seems like it translates to the elemental kingdoms but not so much, in that specific sense to the daemon world.
