Hello,
I am new to this stuff. Let me open with, my mother used to be into the occult and as a kid she told me I had a "gift" now that i am older i checked into it and turns out i do. But what i was told that i need to work with water to completely open up. I dobt kbow where to start or what to start with so any help or direction would help alot. Or even someone who can mentor me or walk me threw this stuff would be great! Thank you.

You need to get grounded somehow. You need a routine. You need framework.

Do you have a set belief system or religion or anything you wish to work from?

As for your gifts,... if you have no system or ground work you should start with some basics. Meditation and visualization. Don't try stretching you abilities til you have a firm base.

Are you trying to get into magic, or just looking to explore the occult?

There are answers everywhere... in every religion and belief system. Not all answers are good ones, but thats ok. Even bad answers act as a sounding board to let you know what you believe. Don't "just accept" anything. Run it through your gut. Let your own internal 'truth tuning fork' tell you which lead to follow.

Yes I am looking to get into magic, and as for religion......I grew up seventh day Adventist but I don't really get into religion any more.
