Meaning of Justice as a future w/ 3 card spread

I did a lesser banishing ritual for the very first time today and it was performed very poorly. I kept forgetting things, losing focus, and I basically blundered my way through the ritual. Directly afterwards I did a simple three card Tarot spread (using only Major Arcana) for past present and future. I drew The Fool (past), The Sun (present) and I couldn't agree more with those two cards.I could hardly believe my eyes when The Fool was the first card I flipped over. Made me think the ritual was a success.. I got Justice as a future a card and I'm not sure how to interpret it. Personally I feel like it's a bit foreboding.

The fool is not always a good card. It can, when surrounded by other cards, indicate a much more literal meaning. I am not the best at reading cards i've not pulled for my own readings (for either myself or others), so I wouldn't want to read to much into it over the internet.

I think approaching it from that perspective might help.

I don't think the fool is always good card either from what I've read, I just think it's the PERFECT card to sum up my past. I had a inkling that it was going to show up as my past.

Were you using only the Major Arcana or all of the cards and all 3 came up as Major Arcana?

Justice need not be a foreboding card. It's one of my favourites!

Balance - sincerity - clarity - justice (heh) - reconciliation - decisive action - righting of past wrongs - finality - strong compassion.

Those are some positive associations of the Justice card. Justice sits on the 22nd path of the Tree of Life, bridging the gap between Severity and Beauty. Not bad, hey? [grin]
