Below is the 'Psychonaut Field Manual' by the Arch-Traitor, Bluefluke. It is the best beginners guide to Chaos Magick on the net right now - it's not only funny, it's also extremely easy to read and to understand. Check it out if Chaos Magick interests you [grin]

This appeals to my lifestyle choices and resonates with my aesthetic sensibilities. Also totally forgot about Ultraculture.
Thanks for sharing!

I take issue with "...see a real ass doctor...". Also the part about alcohol. I think it would be a better idea to just use this forum to start a chaos magick paradigm instead of turning to doctors and drugs to solve a crisis. If that happens it's already gone too far. It also makes no mension of dark night. I am starting to think dark night is a seriously underrated subject.

Well said akimnbomoss,
Agreed...I found the part suggesting allopathic medicine was "real ass" compared to naturopathic medicine, energy healing, or white magic quite...curious. Pardon my bluntness, but I do not perceive the pseudo-science money grubbing quackery of big pharma and co. to quite be "real medicine."
Still, the rest did resonate: Particularly the images dividing left hand/right hand paths and directing folks toward meditation.
Perhaps a lack of mention of the Dark Night of the Soul may be due to this being 'beginner' level material. The Dark Night of the Soul may be considered 'fancier' level material.

Part 2 seems to be getting better. I also see I've made a magick mistake except I found a workaround for it a while back. I noticed that angels and demons are divided up (as a teaching aid?) but good and evil is thrown out the window. I currently work with angels, don't use a circle of protection and make only small requests and if I don't get them I don't get mad. I call it slow time slicing magick. I prefer obscure angels.
I also mix in witchcraft with east Indian paradigms so I guess that makes me a chaote. It's hard on my brain and I had a meltdown once but I sincerely think I'm being protected now.
Just today I got mad at my laptop and my mother remarked how I never get mad anymore and she was surprised yet internally I get angry often I've just learned patience is the key to my continued prosperity now (that and I do a lot of mindfulness noting).

In the last three weeks I've read half a dozen books, listened to countless podcasts, and a lot of that was before deciding on working in Chaos Magick. Out of everything I've read so far this is the single most helpful text I've come across. Absolutely brilliant.
