According to Collin de Plancy's 'Dictionnaire Infernal, 1863 edition', Paimon is one of the Kings of Hell, and is more obedient to Lucifer than the other kings. Paimon has two hundred legions of demons under his rule. He has a great voice, and roars as soon as he comes, speaking in this manner for a while. If you summon him and politely yet forcibly ask him to do so, he will clearly answer all the questions he is asked. To invoke this demon you must look towards the north-west, for this is where he resides. When Paimon appears he must first be allowed to ask what he wants for his services, and be given it, in order to obtain something from him.
Paimon teaches all arts, philosophies and sciences, and secret things; he can reveal all mysteries of the Earth, wind and water. He knows what any another person is thinking, and exactly where they are. He will answer any question that you ask of him, he finds good familiars, and can bind other people to your will.
When just Paimon is summoned, some offering or sacrifice must be made. He will accept it, and then he will be joined by king Bebal and king Abalam, who will themselves bring with them twenty-five legions of spirits. These other spirits do not always come unless you call upon them to do so.
Paimon is depicted as a man with an effeminate face, wearing a precious crown, and riding a dromedary. Before him often goes a host demons in the shape of men, playing trumpets, cymbals, and any other sort of musical instruments.
'Oh great and eternal virtue of the highest, which through thy disposition, these being called to judgement, Vaicheon, Stimulamaton, Esphares, Tetragrammaton, Olioram, Cryon, Esytion, Existion, Eriona, Onela, Brasim, Noym, Messias, Soter, Emanuel, Sabboth, Adonay, I worship thee, I invocate thee, I implore thee with all the strength of my mind, that by thee, my present prayers, consecrations, and conjurations be hallowed and where-soever wicked spirits are called, in the virtue of thy names, they may come together from every shore, and diligently fulfil the will of me the conjurer. Fiat, fiat, fiat, Amen.
I beseech thee by all the means I can, by thy holy names, grant me thy virtue and power, that I may be able to cite before me, thy spirits which were cast down that they may speak with me, and dispatch by and by without delay, and with a good will, and without the harm of my body, soul or goods. Gather thee now spirits of the Seven Winds and the Four Corners that all may pay heed to thy worker.
I conjure thee Paimon by the power of the everlasting virtue of the highest that thou shalt appear in my presence and do my bidding. Let thee in my presence do no harm that no hair of my head or evil, bodily or ghostly befall me. Let thee in my presence allow no spirit take hold and linger beyond their calling so that they may suffer for their trespass.
I conjure thee Paimon that thou shalt act as intermediary in my communication, and that thou shalt now offer me access to the most greatest of mysteries, so that I may learn of them and theirs. Fail not in this calling and in thy chains need be let them be bound that they may do what of them I ask and answer all of them that I ask.'
