Re: Creating a sigil

Well, I have thought about it and it really could be the best way. Something trivial isn't bound to my desires, isn't something important, and as a result will not be the product of selective attention or my own idealism. But there is something else - i really could use some money now [rofl]

But not to be materialist I avoided this and presented the SOI as the "I will deal with my debt easily."

I don't feel like there could be any problems with this, but something calls for caution in me. I could say that it is better to find something trivial, but I can't shake the feeling that I could miss the opportunity to resolve this minor problem.

Okay, so who now has a sigil ready to be charged? We need to really get to the point of achieving a state of no mind to fully charge a sigil, but there are other quicker ways of attaining gnosis, which is the state of mind you need to be in to create change through magick.

Now... this is one of the reasons why this page is hidden. as this information is R18 due to sexual content.

Sexual gnosis is commonly attained in magick through either masturbation or ritual sex. Masturbation creates a moment of no mind at the point of orgasm, and an image viewed immediately before orgasm is reached can be turned into a magical effect. If this symbol is a sigil, the lower part of the brain recognises is able to subconsciously unscramble the sigil to the point that it can recognise its meaning - our brains are constantly doing this, looking for meaning in meaningless things, they are incredibly good at solving riddles such as sigils, its hard wired into our DNA to seek meaning within a situation as quickly as we can so as to be able to escape if there is a threat.

As soon as you orgasm you should destroy the sigil and forget about it. Worrying about magick cast through sigils, especially servitors, will cause the magick to malfunction as it receives contrasting information from its original purpose. Now, this is important - do not watch porn while you do this or your magick will become dependent on it over time. Try to masturbate for the sheer feel of it, the pleasure you are giving yourself, and not the pleasure you are witnessing other people having that you are simply mimicking.

Sex magick is a whole new topic we will cover later, and involves a great deal of roleplay as participants invite certain energies into themselves. Sex magick is often accompanied by chemognosis, as rituals can last over 40 hours at a stretch and involve many partners.

Hey CG, so when I joined this forum this lesson was already going on, if you don't mind I just make a few clarifications with you and tap into this lesson as well.
So my SOI is "I will win 2017 Diversity Visa Lottery" . Do you think it is a good one?
I'll make a sigil out of it soon, if it is.
Is it really necessary to forget the sigils intention?
I've already done a ritual for this by another method, I want to do add some more energy to that channel while practicing, is it a good idea?

Looking forward to that [grin] [yay]

OK I'm again changing my SOI to something that is more important to me and several other people. There is a possibility that our space where we practice as a band could be closed due to several political reasons. But it is not so important to the politicians and there is a possibility to easily distract them because it is a marginal difficulty for them.

When thinking about how to deal with this in m mind popped this thread. Is it wise to try to make this big of a change? My SOI should be carefully selected then.

I believe that maybe it's better to write it in my language mentioning the name of the space as it has it's own energetic signature adding something along these lines: "[Place] will not be closed and will house various bands including mine."

I fear that I need a bit more work on this SOI, and a suggestion perhaps.

All good, just jump in to any lesson as and where you can [thumbup]

The numbers included in the SOI may be an issue, as will setting such tight parameters. I would personally go for 'I will win the lottery next year', which will give the SOI freedom to act in other areas outside of the Diversity Visa Lottery, plus removes the numerals. While your SOI should be specific enough to direct the energies involved in the direction you wish them to go, making the parameters too tight will limit it's effectiveness to find alternative routes to provide you with a lottery win.
RockDemon wrote: I'll make a sigil out of it soon, if it is.
Consider a minor change to it first, as detailed above. Another even less specific alternative would also be 'I will win money next year', though this may just see you winning a couple of dollars, so the inclusion of the lottery as the agent for the win would be preferable.

Yes, it avoids obsession with the sigil and associated servitor, running the risk of turning the servitor into something bigger. Servitors and sigils need to be as simple as possible to avoid them either developing a life of their own (which can be cruel when you need to eventually kill them) or becoming extremely confused and losing direction. It is better to have two servitors which both perform one task than one that performs multiple tasks, and not forgetting the sigils intent, and thus the servitors programming, may see you reprogramming the servitor subconsciously and causing it to fail in its original mission.

Yep, thats fine - as long as the sigil is programmed with the same purpose, the SOI, then other ritual work that builds upon its effectiveness without confusing it or giving it too much sentience will add to the likelihood of it achieving the desired outcome.

Big changes often require either too overly specific SOI's that are too complex and lack a single point of focus, or are too generic or lacking in measurable return. Something like 'America will end its war on terror' has too many ways that it can be interpreted, for example, while 'America Will not bomb Syria' needs a series of smaller events to fully be realised before the bigger aim can be achieved - both could be replaced by sigils that target a key area of American policy. Remember that this is quick and dirty magick for the most part - servitors are not advanced enough to cause change that requires several smaller changes, and as they seek the simplest route to their objective, a request that America cease hostilities may cause more harm than good, or the servitor may just go 'pop' due to the objective being too big for it to achieve.

Focus on one specific statement with one additional rider - maybe consider '[Place} will not be closed and will house my band' and then let other bands ride on that success and remain housed also.

@CG thanks and all understood , but just one thing... Diversity Visa Lottery is not about money it is about winning a green card so that I can legally work and live in USA. So maybe "I will win/get a green card next year" ? Or maybe it would be even better if " #the entry number# will win" (but it still will include numerals this way) ?

Go with the less specific 'I will get a green card next year' and you give the sigil and servitor more wriggle room for obtaining a green card through different channels. It's also specific in that it specifies what you want, and measurable.

Alright, so now I got the SOI and made a sigil out of it. Now all I need to do is to activate it with masturbation, right?
Just a few more questions...
It is okay if SOI is not in my mother tongue, isn't it?
Can I draw the sigil with the marker on a partner, and have sex all the while staring at the sigil and then especially when I orgasm?
And then in the end just clean it from her body?

Should I also avoid negative formulation? Instead of "Place will not be closed", write my SOI as a "Place will be open".

Concerning speechcraft - this has immense effect on people's psyche when you have to sell them something.

Yes, a positively worded statement is preferable, but a negative one can be used if it has a specific and well defined outcome. As sigils follow the easiest route, making a negative statement that simply states that one set action will not happen throws the arena open for anything other than that event to happen. When there are only two options, events that can only be either this or that, then the negative statement will simply reference the alternate option, for example...

A door is either open or it is closed. The openness of the door can have associated synonyms - it can be gaping, ajar, etc, but it is still either open or it is closed. To say that you don't want the door open is to say you want it closed. A SOI that states that the door will not open will logically define the preferred state of that door as being closed. Negative sigils and the associated servitors drawn from them will therefore keep that door in a closed state.

There are multiple runners in a race. Saying that you don't want one to win leaves the field wide open for any other runner to win the race. This is where negative SOI's are not effective, as you are controlling nothing through their use except to exclude one event of many from happening. In this instance its much easier to create an SOI that focuses on the positive outcome, the person you want to win. SOI's which leave the outcome too open run the risk of the servitor just exploding - think of servitors as very well trained dogs; its easier to say 'fetch me the slippers' and get the result you want than to say 'don't fetch the paper' and expect the dog to fetch your slippers instead.
